Cute, but glad I got the warranty

I researched for about two months before purchasing my 2004 Chevy Malibu. I found the Malibu to be the best fit for me, a traveling college bound student. The car its self handles very well and I always have fun driving it. The fuel economy isn't the greatest, at 23 mpg, but not worth complaining about. Shortly after I bought it, I realized the windshield wiper fluid didn't work when the button was pushed and the seat didn't work. I'm having issues with it starting slowly. Although I'm not sure if this is do to the car, or the Cleveland cold weather. My sister got stuck in the passenger side because the door wouldn't open from the inside. Great car, but I'm glad I got the warranty.

Just got my wife the car she wanted thus which was the 04 malibu..and all I can say is that its real great. I own a CTS and the malibu isnt as performance orented but it does it's well in comforting the passenger with its superb ride and quiet enterior. When i bought the car I took it to a custom shop where I got new 18" ACR Black rims. carbon fiber front light attachments. Black stiching on the seats, a dvd and xenon bulbs. and the car looks even greater all i spend was 23 gran for the car and 2 grand for the interior and light modifacations in the shop..GREAT CAR CHEVY!!

The car is an affordable sporty sedan with headroom that Honda and Toyota can not match. We love the shift by wire thumb control, using compresion to hold us back going down hill and aproaching stop signs. If you do not feel like the hassle of shifting the breaks are more than adequate. Passing acceleration from 65 mph - 85 mph is impressive. Ergonomics are excellent. All of the controlls are visible and accessable. The trunk has plenty of room for safety equipment and CHRISTmas gifts.

This Malibu has been out-of-service four times in four months for engine component defects and power steering defect. Some initial interior problems as well.

It is 2022 and I was blessed enough to find a 2004 Chevy Malibu LT V6 with only 102,000 mi on it. I had previously owned a 2000 Malibu with a four-cylinder and I loved that car so much. Because I had to give it away (practically sold it for nothing) I have always wanted another one. Like I said I have been blessed to find a very early model Malibu in mint condition with very few miles on it for its age and I've got to tell you... This is probably My most favorite vehicle that I have ever owned. The steering is impeccable, the gas mileage is incredible and the power is amazing with the V6 LT model. I will keep this car for life. I just smoked a mustang lol and this is a sedan. Chevy you are definitely did the right thing by putting a V6 engine in the Malibu's. I am very saddened to know that you only are putting the four cylinder engines in the Malibu's from now on. You need to start producing the v6s again in the Malibu's!!!!! They do not let you down. This car is SO FUN to drive!!!! It's a long lasting, powerful yet simple engine to work on if any problems in the future... I♥️MY MALIBU V6!!!!

I have had my Chevy less than 4 years and I am unable to get my hatchback trunk open. It is very frustrating. My mechanic states that it is the motor in lock to open the hatchback. I am sure if I take it to the dealer, it will be about $300 to fix it. Luckily I have a nice reasonable mechanic, although he lives far so it is a bit of a hassle to get my car worked on. I was very pleased with my car until this point but now I am convinced that Chevy uses cheap parts and I will not buy a Chevy again. I bought a new Astro van before this car and all I did was put money into it. It cost me a small fortunate in repairs. Never again will I buy a GM car.

Feels and looks more European

The new Malibu feels and looks much more substantial than the previous model. The LS V6 has a spirited feel and is quick and agile. Even though it lacks the power of the V6 Accord, Altima and Camry in terms of horsepower it feels sporty and capable. Before buying this car, I test drove all three other models and could not convince myself to spend nearly 30 thousand dollars for the imports. Also, I have driven my car over 10,000 miles in three months and have had no mechanical, or any defects despite hard driving conditions in the mountainous regions of the desert Southwest and heavy traffic of Phoenix and Los Angeles.

This is a great car. The driving is great. The seats [driver and passenger] are very comfortable. I have the power seat and my wife loves it. The remote vehicle start is great also. My first long drive it had 29 miles to the gallon. This is to me a luxury car I can afford. I have received many [at least 15 or more] good comments. None so far. This car has the Onstar and XM radio also. One comment was from a "maxima" car owner who was really impressed.

My 2004 Chevy Malibu

I love my 2004 Chevy Mailbu. I would suggest it to anyone who is looking to buy a midsized car. The 2003 doesn't even compare to the 2004. The car seems to have European style, feel, and comfort. I chose the LS V6 with the following options that I would recommend: side-curtain airbags and remote start (one of my favorites). Please feel free to email me if you are considering purchasing anytime soon.
