Used 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Consumer Reviews
You have to drive this car!
I've driven Malibus before, but the new restyled 2004 had some pleasent surprises. Great new body styling. I'm a big guy and found lots of head, leg and shoulder room. The pedal adjust for shorter drivers. I love the telescoping steering wheel. Fits like a glove. Interior comfort, all the bells a whistles I have enjoyed with larger, more expensive models. I got the XM/On-Star option, nice. Extremely smooth, quiet drive. Large truck. Split, fold down rear seat, and front passenger seat that fold down for transporting. Even my 22 year old son thinks it's "fly". (He said that means it's a nice car.) A great car at a great price!
2004 Malibu LS --WOW
WE live in Lake Havasu City Az where we purchased our 2004.During the month of Dec. we drove it back to Mass. for the holidays.WOW what a woderful drive. The car handles with great ease and responds to all weather conditions. Considering the length (3,000 Mi.)of the trip it was very comfortable. The gas milage was excellent 33 mpg.

ITS GREAT
WE COMPARED TO OTHER SEDANS IN THE SAME PRICE RANGE AND DECIDED THE NEW 04 MALIBU WAS THE BEST VALUE OF ALL. ITS A GREAT CAR.
Solid Car
I purchased my 2004 Malibu after going for three months without any car following an accident which totaled by 2004 Cavalier. As luck would have it it put me in a great position to wind up with this Malibu. I had never really heard much about them until I found this one at a local dealer. After reading up on it I found that it sounded like it would be worth a look. I took it for a test drive and looked it over and found it was great. I have owned it for three weeks now and the car has been more than what I imagined it would be. Roomy, comfortable, with loads of features that I could only have dreamed about in my Cavalier (remote start, automatic lights, electric pedals and seats etc).
Home made import
I was going to replace my 01 Impala with an 04, in fact the dealer had my new Impala prepped for me. I saw the LT model in the showroom and had to test drive it. I fell in love. I love the looks of the Nissan Altima but would never buy an import. This car has it all.
Perfect!
I'm astonished at how perfect this car has been. It has no perceptible build problems whatsoever, gets 25+ MPG, is very quiet (for the class), has plenty of power for acceleration and passing, and looks great.
Great Bargain
I'm 6'2'' and weigh 240 lbs. The car fits me. Seats are comfortable (very adjustable for all sizes), and car rides and drives great. Love the stearing. The car is very manueverable. Seems to have more pickup than my previous Passat turbo 4 cyl. Better gas milage, too, on regular gas. Whole lot of power in the lower ranges, where I'm driving most of the time anyway. Much easier to get into and out of than my passat. And, I've never found a Camrey or Accord I fits like this one. Others don't provide this much engineering, creature comfor and features for the money.
Chev. Malibu-fun car
The handling is sporty, the car has plenty of get up and go when needed, all instruments on control panel are easily accessable, and it is fun to drive. I went from a Chev. Venture mini van to this car and I love it.
Still in shock!
Just bought my Malibu. I have been an SUV driver for the past 2 years. Never thought I would be driving a car again. I saw the new Maxx and thought WOW! thats cool. Test drove the Maxx and loved it! While waiting on the saleman to do the "numbers" I saw the Malibu LS in the showroom and started to think..could this be for me? Long story short after having the salesman clean snow off of a black LS and a dark grey metallic I bought the dark grey. I love this car! No more SUV for me.
Best Car
I only had the LS model for a short time but I can honestly say "I just love it". It's so nice to drive a car that almost thinks for itself.
