A fun car for road trips, The interior feels like it wraps around you, a throw back to the early 90s corvettes, the seats feel great even on longer trips, the instruments panel will give you more information then you will need but is very nice to set up for what ever information you would like, The radio ,Nav sound and look good , the HUD is very nice and works well with the radio and navigation system , giving you radio station and turn by turn information on your windshield. The MRS( ride selection) is another feature that lets you set up the car how you would like the ride and steering to feel as well as how aggressive the exhaust sounds. Room under the back hatch is 15cuft. so two peoples luggage or a day of shopping will fit in the back Some of the interior buttons don't feel to good, mainly on the doors, the materials in the car feel nice and look good. Road noise (from older run flat tires) is noticeable, there are blind spots on the sides as with a lot of modern cars you will need to make an effort to make sure you are clear when changing lanes. The 6 speed automatic is smooth shifting, low rates of failure, up shift are improvement over the 13 Vett, down shifts are a little slow, but still fun when spirted driving with the paddles. The car sits low but not unbearable for most roads (parking curbs another story), the seats may be a little hard to get in and out for some people. The engine runs through the power band smoothly, classic Chevy v8, runs well, does not have many issues, does not need a lot of up keep, idle may be a little ruff. Expect 27-28 MPG on the high way with the Auto and a couple more MPG with the manual trans. Handling is impressive, the car holds the road well, does not have any bad handling traits, with all the ecteronic driving aids, you can set up the car for driving skill level, the active handling will help to keep you safer and drive quicker in most cases, it is a sports car with over 450 HP and TRQ, so you need to respect the car. Over all if you like sports cars, you will most likely enjoy the C7 Corvette, the best value for a sports car with its it capabilities, low maintenance and just fun to drive. It is a bit of a drivers car so there may not be features you find on other high end sports car, still has a bit of a raw feeling to it. The 14 Stingray looks better in person then the pictures, If you are looking at buying a C7 corvette, I would recommend a one owner car, most are very well cared for ,with low mileage, research all the features, models, years and find what you best matches what you want. my car in a 14 Stingray, Z51, 3LT, 6A in Laguna Blue, bought it used with 18000 miles it is at 2300 now, no maintenance issues at this point, mainly wanted a car for road trips and some fun driving on winding back roads, very happy with the car, fun, fast and easy to live with

GM is so frustrating! A/C Heater problem NOT FIXED

I love everything about my 2014 Stingray with the exception of getting GM to fix problems. When I turn on the A/C I get full on 1,000 degree hot air (exaggerating) on my right knee and feet and it is infuriating! In the summer time you don't even want to drive it. GM's solution is "use bilevel" which only works partially and does not blow hard enough on top to keep you cool. It is outrageous that I've had my car since Jan 2014 and they still haven't addressed this known issue. I've lost all faith in General Moters over this issue. This is Customer NO service!!!

Up to 8,000 miles now on this 2014 Corvette. Still significant problems with the HVAC system as reported before. The rear view camera is terrible, takes forever to adjust to the light conditions. Still fun to drive although as I approach my 79th birthday it is a pain to get into and out of, but what the hell!

I have always loved Corvettes since I was a child. I still remember my father redoing my mom's 1964 Stingray Coupeville which was in 85 and we still own it woth only 82,000 original miles. So I always loved them I have owned probably 10 in my lifetime my newest prior tp my 2014 was a 1996 and I was having hard time to love them that is the newer models. I felt like I was getting cheated with what I paid in my opinion poor quality interior. It's hard to believe they made Cadillac which had nice interior yet Many Vettes had alot of plastic which had many cracked dash from the sun ripped seats from poor quality seats. In 2014 when I realized they were bringing back the Stingray I figured I would at least go check it out it was my favorite body style especially 63-67 and it would be 50 years older than my mom's who had passed away. As soon as I saw the Torch Red wit top down and I thought nice. Now let's see the interior. Boy was I blown away. They finally took the time to make it look like a nice sports car should look like. I purchased it with 6 miles on it and I have nothing but great things to say about it. The ride also has been made so much smoother. Alot of Vettes ride like log wagons and they even give yiu the chance to drive it in 6 different modes which is smooth and safe and if you fill like driving like you stole it you can do that easily. You just put it ittn track mode I'd you really want all she has turn the traction control off ittn track mode. If taking ittnnt to track I would practice take off because I didn't think with big 20 inch rims and tires just turning off track mode would make that big difference man was I wrong Ilit just lites them up and just hang on for the ride. Even with Traction control on yiu stomp gas it will spin a little. I was definitely fooled I had a 2010 2 SS Camaro and it wouldn't even chirp the tires. Maybe I got a lemon. I sold it quickly. It had so much tech that when you stomped the gas it would take half second delay before taking off. The Vette doesn't. Even in economy mode if you stomp gas it will give you power then it doesn't hesitate. Again I am so glad the team at Chevy Corvette finally made a top notch Sports car. I hope other Corvette owners are as happy with theirs as I am mine. Also I'm not trying to bash those other Vettes I just thought Chevy Dropped the ball in certain areas.

Best American sports car ever made(so far)

I have had various American muscle cars in my life and also currently own a cadillac ATS turbo 2.0 which is a great car. Like soem other reviewers have stated I always liked vettes but not enough to plunk down the cash for it. Luckily I'm at the stage of my life where I cab finally afford a performance machine like the C7. This version is a serious performance machine. In order to get similar performance rfom an import you can easily spend 30-70K more than a well equipped C7. I bought a 2LT, Z51 convertible which i think is a great combo package for 70k. Best performance value on the market hands down and this car not only performs, feels and drives great but is also equally stunning looking
