Best car you can buy for the $$
I have had my 2011 Camaro LS for 3 months now and it truly is an amazing car! General Motors has stepped up there game when it comes to quality and value so far I have not had one problem with this car mechanically. The 312hp 3.6L V6 runs very smooth and when you open up the throttle this baby moves fast! The 6 speed auto seems to be a good match for this car it has 2 modes drive and sport and when you really want to push it id recommend sport mode you can feel the differences. The exterior design speaks for it self awesome! I see people complaining about the interior and visibility you got to remember this was a concept car and i'm glad they didn't mess with the overall design too much!
Best GM Sports Car in Decades. Total Joy!
I dont review lightly and have a lot of experience with the car buying process. This is my 45th car in my 33 years of driving and am completely satisfied. GM has a slam dunk with this one. Everyone knows that the exterior is hot. The interior is comfortable and inviting. Personally, I prefer a simple, modern/retro looking interior. Guages are laid out well and the center guage information center is a lifesaver for easy read and info. No blemishes, gaps well aligned and spaced, and not a single squeek, rattle, or pop. I have dual cameras on front and back along with curb sensor which eliminates blind spots. Remember, its a sports car, not a mommy van.
SS.2.RS Race Car
When I was checking out the car I thought no way would the wife let me get it. Get to test driving the car (v8 Manual) wife refused to drive it saying she was intemidated... After we get it home she took it out and now 2 months later 1500 of our first 2000 miles are from my wife cruising around to work etc. This car is a race car in build. If your seeking maximum comfort or the best gas mileage get a Caddy or a Prius. If you want a car and like many others have said that gets you comments and looks everywhere you go. Feels and drives like a race car. Makes you feel like 1 million bucks. This is your car. Its fun, fast, and sexy. You wont go wrong here!
2SS/RS White-Black Leather
I tried to get her to make a house wife /mother sensible decision but after driving SUVs for 13 years she wouldn't settle for it. We have only had it a couple days and got nailed by a rock on the freeway after the first 50 miles and chipped the windshield. Hopefully that will be the official "break in". We got white because of what I have read about the soft paint and figured we can fill the chips with wax or touchup will be easier. Car feels great-If you are intimidated about the visibility at first you get use to it after the first day. Looking forward to opening it up but am being nice to the motor for the break in. Hopefully it will be reliable. Car is BEAUTIFUL/DREAM CAR!!!
My Miracle Camaro
I bought by 2011 Camaro 5 years ago - V6, Automatic, Leather, RS Package - it's been an amazing car. The original tires lasted 70,000 miles! I'm at 136,000 and still on the original brake pads. Minimal maintenance and FUN to drive!!!

2011 Camaro 2LT
First thing you should know is that I've had this car for a week. I had a 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. This is my 4th Camaro and it's by far the best!! Compared to the Eclipse the Camaro's sightlines aren't all that bad at all. The V6 has great acceleration and the gas mileage is better than the 4 cylinder Eclipse. My first impression of the car was that it didn't feel like a Camaro at all, at least not one that I'd ever driven. The handling is much more stable! The weight distribution of the car is almost perfect, I think it's 52/48. The tires are going to be a little expensive but very worth it! Over all, I couldn't be more pleased or more excited every time I get in the car
Very Nice Ride!!!
I own a 2011 SLT Coupe and this car handles brilliantly. I have owned camaros in the past but nothing this fun and easy to drive. I really like that mine is manual trans. cause it really feels like your in control of all that power even though it is a V-6. Every where I go I got people shouting out at me nice ride and people turning heads and asking questions about my car. I like the body style the and for a smaller car that has low head room it actually decieves you by looking at it because when your behind the wheel there is a lot of room. The suspension is awesome it takes curves very well and has all the features you need to enjoy your drive. Good buy and excellent gas mileage.
Truly in Love
I have a Black 2011 2SS with the RS package with the Inferno Orange interior. This car nails the WOW factor to the max. I see younger kids taking pictures with their cellphones, older ladies pull their husbands shirts to look at my Camaro. I am truly in love, I cannot wait to get out of work just do drive it. The ride is really smooth, has a solid feel like a BMW 750 which I owned. It is very very fast, however because of the smooth ride it doesn't feel as fast. The HUD came in handy for that problem. The only reason I am not driving this instant is because I have a horrible cold. I recommend it to all. Great alternative to Viagra.
Part 2 of Midlife Crisis
Traded in my Lexus IS for an '11 2LT. Own the car for a year now and put 10K miles on it. Styling, both inside and out is exceptional, performance is excellent, comfort is good, and fuel economy is as good as you can expect for a car like this. For those who complain about cramped back seats, you simply bought the wrong car for your intended use. Overall the car offers fantastic value and great driving experience. Attracts a lot of attention, including police(had my day in court). You can't get most of the features the 2LT offers in a Mercedes, etc unless you spend almost 2X the 30K. Really? $55K and no xenon lights, parking sensors, premium sound, folding rear seats or auto start.
2011 ss synergy camaro
Just purchased a 2011 ss synergy series black camaro ss. Drove a 2018 ss from N.C. to Fla. Purchased the car and drove the 2011 straight back. Averaged 24 mpg and the ride was great for a modern day muscle car, wasn't worn out after the trip. Love the looks, styling and and ride of the car.

Brings back the 60's
Chevy has done a wonderful job with this car. It is so retro and fun to drive with its big bold look. I have the 2ss with automatic and you are always in the right gear. You really punch it and it will set you back in your seat. Love to go cruising and listen to xm 60s on 6 station and I feel like I am back in the 60s. Great build quality, performance and handling. I have had mine for approx 1 yr now and could not be more pleased. Getting around 17 mph in town which is great for a 400hp V-8.
Fun, Fun, Fun
Bought a 1LT auto, with sunroof. I am over 60 and this car makes me feel young like when I had my 67 when I was 22. This car has a solid feel. The V6 is very quick. I average between 24 -28 MPG in mixed driving. Ride is good and better than the 2011 Mustang I test drove. Backing up is not great because of the view, but with the backup camera in the 2012 that will help. This car also gets the looks, people are always looking at it.
1000 Mile Review
Do you know that girl at work? You know her...the really hot one you talk about with the guys all the time. She's kind of quirky...maybe doesn't do some things as well as others...but she is sooooo HOT that you are willing to forgive her for any short comings. That is the Camaro. Two weeks later and I still look back at my Silver Ice Metallic 2SS when I leave. Feel eyes on you as you are stopped at a light? You are not paranoid. Everyone is looking at your Camaro. Get ready to answer the question, "how do you like it?' You are going to hear it every time you get out of the car. If you are unsure about the 6 or 8, just test drive them both and step on the gas...the choice gets easy.
Speed and Power
let me sum it up! its a Great car with its flaws BUT its a sports car or a weekend car not a daily driver. drives great sounds even better

Great Car For The Price
I was a die hard BMW fan, so winning me over to an American muscle car was not easy. But what we have here is an exceptional car that looks amazing, handles well, is settled and quiet for long drives, but is fun when you get on the back roads and put your foot down. If you want a $30K coupe, then you owe it to yourself to test drive this one. I've had the car less than a week and already strangers have approached me to ask questions and admire the car. The reactions are astonishing, as if I were driving a $100K super car. Of course I did get mine in Inferno Orange Metallic, that is not exactly subtle!
lil bea
if you want a car with excellent pick-up and a feeling that you are part of the car when driving,, this car is for you!!! it actually feels like the tires are sticking to the road when driving, really great handling.. have owned it for nearly 5 years and still love it.

Nice Bang for the Buck!
Great, great car! Amazing performance for the dollar! I've had it for over three months now and have not had any issues. Wish I could say the same for other Camaro owners and ex-owners. I've been averaging a combined 19 mpg in the city and highway which is pretty good for such a big motor.
Black on Black 1ss
Awesome performance and styling. Fun to drive and a pleasure to own.
Very pleased
Just completed a 3000 mile road trip from the Midwest to the northeast. Fun to drive, very comfortable (I'm 6'3", 300 lbs) even for someone my size. No issues to this point, other than my wife wants the convertible when it comes out next spring. I was never a GM person, but they won me over with the camaro

Better than a C5 Corvette
Traded in my 2001 Corvette and this Camaro is driving much smoother with still the same grip.Good leather seats and nice interior, could be a bit soft touchier dashboard but fits well. The power is good for a six speed automatic 6 cylinder with open air filter 10 hp more. Like the paddle shifters on the steering wheel to keep the motor in his rpm to power up! Drives 30 mpg on normal driving conditions, not bad for a 315 hp machine.
Camaro will rule the road
This car is so much fun to drive. The power is awesome and the feeling when driving this car is great. I have been waiting since the concept car was rolled out. The number of comments from people we see while we are out is amazing. I am looking forward to driving this car for a long time.

great car
I purchase my camaro about 3 week ago and this is a very find car to drive I love this car, I watch this car come up from Clay. The people who built this car did a very good job, when I am out in my car people tell me how great this car look. I love the v8 power you get in this car the best I ever had, I drove my camaro out on a country road at speed of 120 it was like I was going 70 mph just cruising, motor sound good. Perform great at that speed. I was surprise at the way this car perform, the fuel is not bad but I do used super unleaded and nothing else. The stereo sound good, the seats are ok but creak sometime, the dash lighting is nice the ac is cold being here in Texas at 100 degree
Pros and cons
Just a beautiful car. Fell in love the second I saw it. From a drivers standpoint, fun to drive. Visibility is not good at all though. Hard to see at stop light if you are anywhere near it, and although I am getting used to it, the visibility while backing up is severely lacking. Perhaps this will get better the more I drive the car, but those are the downfalls. Very quick car, and I can't imagine driving the v8! Overall, definitely worth the purchase and I can't wait until I can take it out and open it up!
25,000 exotic
People this car was 25,000 and has the best looks of any american made sports car out there. Plus add to that a 312 hp engine a boston acoustics 245 watt stereo system, onstar, vehicle phone built in and sick performance. Are u kidding me try finding that elsewhere for the same price. And as to the knocks on blind spots and comfort it is a SPORTS car wake up. The overall experience of drivng this car is spectacular. The ecceleration is sick as well as the handling. I owned 6 camaros and 2 firebirds in the day as well as a 1988 toyota supra. This car for the money cant be beat. Remeber its not a camry or a milk toast family car if you what that buy one of those and not this head turner.
2SS Convertible
Bought mine March 2011. Have 6500 miles on it. So not driving it alot. Issues, passenger seat too low and non Electric so no height adjustment. If you run my heater for awhile the fan will begin to rattle. I need to take in for repair. Rear rotor is rusting and it is the only one doing that. The car is garaged and basically new. Not sure about the necessity of ONSTAR due to Smart Phones. ONStar costs $30 a month. Seems better just to have a GPS. No spare tire or Jack/lug wrench in trunk. Just have the air pump and tire sealer. (Seems cheap for a car I spent well into the mid 50s on. A bit cumbersome removing and installing the convertible top cover. Wheels scratch easily.
2011 Camaro 2SS 6-speed manual
This vehicle is all that it was cracked up to be. Wonderful exterior styling and lines, a well crafted interior that pays nice homage to the early Camaros and FREAKISHLY strong power to accelerate. 6-spd manual transmission mates well with the engine and is fun to drive. Handling is tight and responsive. Fuel economy is as promised (about 24 mpg hwy). If driven modestly in town around 19/20 mpg. One nice addition for the 2011 - and one which I waited for - is the HUD. Nicely done and it subtly reminds you of your speed and RPM without having to take eyes off road. Gauges, leather and interior lighting are a nice mix of retro and European touches. Well done Chevy! Happy!
2011 Camaro 1 LT
So far the car has 1000 miles. In that time the car has performed ok. I have followed the manufacturers recommendation of not going over 4k during the break-in. The drivers seat is creaking and sounds like a spring has popped. The gas mileage fluctuates from 21 to 28 mpg. The visibility is bad but i was driving an Accord Coupe prior and am used to it but the camaro is worse. The interior does not compare to the Accords which was much nicer! The controls on the Camaro are very small fro people who need reading glasses and for those who don't. No interior storage as compared to the Honda. The interior lighting is primitive. The dash lighting is cool. Lousy nonadjustable cup holders.
Fun but Expensive
This car has its pros and cons, but there are too many cons. Pros: The car is a lot of fun to drive, very powerful, and looks great. Cons: MPG is not even close to what the epa estimates are. Unless you drive incredibly well and keep the rpm's below 2500, you are going to get 14/15 mpg on a good day and average out at about 11. The car is always in the shop and constantly needs to be maintained. An oil change costs about $100 and this car drinks oil likes its no tomorrow. Tires costs about $250 each and the car goes through those like an eraser on a pencil. Only buy this car if you plan to use it as a weekend car, not a daily driver, and don't care about maintenance costs.

Head Turner
This car does everything you would want a car to do. When driving you will notice a lot of people looking your way. The car is surprisingly more quiet than most of any sport cars I have ever had in the past. Also has very good response for maneuvering around corners and curves.
Modern Muscle
I've had my Black 2SS for nearly 3 years now and still love driving it. I live in Western NY and must garage it during the winter, bummer! To own this car in my area you it must be as a summer car, no way I would drive it in the snow and salt. Pleanty of power when you want it, I recomend investing in a radar dector. The cool factor of driving this car makes the visibility issue dissapear after a couple short drives! Trunk space is OK, The back seat drops down and 2 sets of golf clubs fits easily. I've owned several manuals and nearly stalled it at first but you get used it quickly. Gas mileage not bad when compared to older muscle cars.
Cool Ride
I bought this car in March of 2011 as a birthday present for myself. I have driven it as a primary car and now have 30,000 miles on it. I have not had one problem with the car so far. The speed is also surprising since it is a V-6. It has over 300 horsepower! Because the rear is so high and the rear window so small, my wife who is 5 foot tall has been unable to safely drive it. I think the sacrifice is justifiable though in order to get the great look that the car has. It catches attention and I have had many people compliment me on my car. The only drawback I can really complain of is the gas mileage as it only gets about 14 miles to the gallon in the city.
RS RED JEWEL
Love almost the total package. The power is awesome for a 6 banger. Handles great. The looks are looks you get make you a proud owner. The only fall back after 7000 miles is the paint is to soft, like they didn't put enough paint and/or clearcoat on them. Chips and scratches too easily for the price we paid! Other than that we love it!
GREAT CAR with Flaws
I had my Camaro SS for a year and a half. The car has a phenomenal smooth, comfortable ride. A bit of body roll. What kills the fun on the 2011's is the steering feel. I feels hard, fighting against you. Makes the car feel even heavier. Acceleration is outstanding, yet it doesnt feel as fast because of how smooth. Once you look at the HUD you realize you are well into 100mph. Visibility is very poor. Gas mileage was the reason I got rid of it. I averaged 13 MPG City. The maximum I reached on the hwy was 20 (it was a miracle). After a year and a half later, I would stay admire it as I walked to or away from it. Beautiful style
Second Take
Great car for just having fun.Not the most comfortable but hey thats what the caddilac is for. This will be my third purchase of a camaro and they just keep getting better.

Best Sports per dollar
A all around true sports car that is a legend in the United States. A car that all types of household income can afford and feel proud to own and more then exciting to drive. With wonderful power and mileage
My classic!
Gen 5 Camaro. Ordered this vehicle in March 2010. Wanted Grey color. Order was held up due to the Japan tsunami destroyed the factory that made the grey paint metal flake. Had to change the color so the order could flow thru but was afraid of red or orange- "ticket magnet". Wife convinced me to go with Inferno Orange and haven't looked back. Love it along with the orange interior accents. Car is treated with tender love and care. Stored in winter, and in the garage during summer covered with sheets. So far has never seen rain. I go to as many car shows as I can- member of the Motor City Camaro Club. Minor issue with the convertible top design. Water drains off the top to a bag system under the rear and does not fully drain. After washing it, I need to to open the top partially and use towels to pull out all the water remaining in the bag. Without doing that every time, I foresee mold.and odor problems. New Gen 6 Camaros have the top material proud of the metal and water flows outboard. Also the top tonneau is very awkward to install and vulnerable to blowing off at high speed unless you make sure the retaining clips are really clipped in . Club member with similar car had one blow off and replacement cost $1500. Hate the automatic door locks- there is NO purpose for that and no way to program out Radio dial angled so sun reflection are a problem with top down. RR quarter window motors were grinding and were replaced with 2013 version under warranty / "policy". Concerned about the lack of spare tire- only has a "goo canister" and air pump. But there is no space for carrying these SS tires in the trunk anyway after a flat. Dealer is confused- keeps sending me "tire rotation" coupons. SS has different size tires front and rear so there is no tire rotation -by design. Some brake dust with these Brembo brakes. Have to wash wheels very often. Minor irritations, but LOVE IT overall. Wouldn't part with it.

Need better paint
I love the car. People stopper everywhere we go. The power is awesome for a stock 6 banger. So far the only problem in 4 months has been the paint. To soft or not enough coats. Chips and scratches, water spots bad.Major problem. GM should on up to this one. Other that that love the car.
2SS/RS "Bumblebee"
Purchased Bumblebee... literally Driving around my wife and I happened upon this thing and she loved the styling (it is a beautiful car). 2SS/RS with a couple extras and an A/T(wife preffers this) and we were on our way home in style with a beautiful exhaust not to boot. Favorite features: - Styling - Quality of materials is better than the Edmunds suggests (in my opinion) - Very good sound system - Ride comfort is nearly perfect for everyday driving - 6.2 liter engine is a MONSTER. Very quick however again if you've had other vehicles it leaves you wanting more. Downsides - Extremely poor visibility - As big as the cars dimensions are you feel cramped when inside Overall the car is amazing for the pricepoint. Couldn't really ask for more paying what we did. brochure isn't lieing with preformance numbers at all and fit/finish is really good with a few exceptions if you really look. The trunk thing is a real thing and I wish someone at GM at the time thought of this when designing as I know people don't expect to fit much in a sports/muscle car but at the same time the dimensions make it very difficult to use for larger suitcases and items. Gas mileage is what you'd expect with an engine this size so don't buy it looking for 40+ mpgs. Transmission shifts are pretty precise and can be very aggressive if you put your foot on the throttle and those rear tires really stick when it's warm out but once broken loose can go ALLLLL day. Automatic is definetly going to be faster but gives up the fun factor of rowing through gears for sure... put the windows down and listen to that exhaust note and it will all go away though. As fast and great as it is though I also own a 2007 Shelby GT and that car is only a 1/2 second slower to 60 than this and has a 4.6... The fact is I don't feel special when driving the Camaro like I do in my Shelby. At the end of the day it is only a Camaro regardless of how you break the numbers down. Doesn't make it bad just some insight from someone that owns other vehicles. If you buy this be cautious and try to find one that hasn't been rodded around. As someone that appreciates vehicles I don't see vehicles of this nature sticking around too much longer as people lean the way of electric vehicles and we loose the sound of a great motor while rippping away from a stoplight to a whisper of what old school performance once was.

Fun, Fast, but with trade-offs
The editor reviews are right on . With one exception . This car is far more fun than the 2011 mustang gt! At first, I was impressed with the power, but I felt it was a bit sluggish . Still better feeling than the 2011 mustang gt, but then I found out that the dealer had put 87 octane in the car and that the computer did not reset. I reset the computer and wow it feel great! This car get thumbs up everywhere and it seems that everyone likes them. I have the orange with black automatic and could not be happier with the purchase
Beautiful lemon
This car is cheaply make from the radio to the seats. My radio knobs melted when I first purchase the car. The driver's seat ripped in first year. I have to change the bulbs in my car more than I change my house bulbs. I have repaired the throttle,Starter and the list goes on. It's in the shop at this moment. Shut off with no warning misfire can't figure out why.

Not Happy
Im in Sales and travel daily....Not happy with this purchase. I went from a Dodge Charger to the Camero...Gotta say I purchased this for looks only. It is very diffcult to see when backing up....the car is not comfortable, and I can feel every bump in the road...I also own a 2007 Mustang, I thought this car road ruff...Just very unhappy with this purchase... Wish I could have drove this car for a couple of days before writing a 30,000 check...
Totally Hot Car
My husband actually bought this and traded in my Ford Explorer while it was in the driveway. Its the 2SS and I adore it! This car is very fast. 426+ hp.. Been asked for phone numbers while pumping gas on more than one occasion in car. Got a few minor issues probably due to my height. 5'6". Trouble seeing out front and back. Gotten a few tickets. Sunroof and whole package great. Thoroughly recommend. Hasnt been in the shop one day. Just listed to get something boring and sensible. Just hate to sell. Makes driving fun again. Love it. Needs a rear camera.
Fun in the sun!
This car hugs the road. It performs with no problems. Ease of use, everything within reach. You just want to drive it down the road. When the top is down you can see everything.

Certified Pre-Owned Value?
Buying the Camaro SS from the dealer provided me with the opportunity to purchase the extended warranty/service plan, which I'm glad I did. In would recommend this to anyone buying available used sports car. It was much more affordable than buying a new model.
