My classic!
Gen 5 Camaro. Ordered this vehicle in March 2010. Wanted Grey color. Order was held up due to the Japan tsunami destroyed the factory that made the grey paint metal flake. Had to change the color so the order could flow thru but was afraid of red or orange- "ticket magnet". Wife convinced me to go with Inferno Orange and haven't looked back. Love it along with the orange interior accents. Car is treated with tender love and care. Stored in winter, and in the garage during summer covered with sheets. So far has never seen rain. I go to as many car shows as I can- member of the Motor City Camaro Club. Minor issue with the convertible top design. Water drains off the top to a bag system under the rear and does not fully drain. After washing it, I need to to open the top partially and use towels to pull out all the water remaining in the bag. Without doing that every time, I foresee mold.and odor problems. New Gen 6 Camaros have the top material proud of the metal and water flows outboard. Also the top tonneau is very awkward to install and vulnerable to blowing off at high speed unless you make sure the retaining clips are really clipped in . Club member with similar car had one blow off and replacement cost $1500. Hate the automatic door locks- there is NO purpose for that and no way to program out Radio dial angled so sun reflection are a problem with top down. RR quarter window motors were grinding and were replaced with 2013 version under warranty / "policy". Concerned about the lack of spare tire- only has a "goo canister" and air pump. But there is no space for carrying these SS tires in the trunk anyway after a flat. Dealer is confused- keeps sending me "tire rotation" coupons. SS has different size tires front and rear so there is no tire rotation -by design. Some brake dust with these Brembo brakes. Have to wash wheels very often. Minor irritations, but LOVE IT overall. Wouldn't part with it.

Need better paint
I love the car. People stopper everywhere we go. The power is awesome for a stock 6 banger. So far the only problem in 4 months has been the paint. To soft or not enough coats. Chips and scratches, water spots bad.Major problem. GM should on up to this one. Other that that love the car.
Fun, Fast, but with trade-offs
The editor reviews are right on . With one exception . This car is far more fun than the 2011 mustang gt! At first, I was impressed with the power, but I felt it was a bit sluggish . Still better feeling than the 2011 mustang gt, but then I found out that the dealer had put 87 octane in the car and that the computer did not reset. I reset the computer and wow it feel great! This car get thumbs up everywhere and it seems that everyone likes them. I have the orange with black automatic and could not be happier with the purchase
