GM Sold the tracking data from my CT5 beware
I was surprised to find the dealer had only 1 in stock. I took a test drive and loved the car. The price for this size and class of car was AMAZING, I paid around $36k after my trade in which wasn’t worth much. I’ve driven it now for about 5 months and I actually like it better now than when I first bought it. It handles better now that I have about 6k miles on it. These cars have a small 4 cylinder Twin Scroll Turbo engine that actual have plenty enough power once you get used to them. Its great on gas and looks great from every angle. I bought the Luxury model because its the only one they had. I have since added the sport taillights and spoiler. ***Updated review, I traded the car off a few months shy of 2 years owning it. The car just seriously started to bore me. It felt as though a new body had been put on an older style chassis. The fun and newness wore off quickly and by 7 or 8 months of ownership I was tired of the car. In January of 23 I drove an Alfa Romeo Giulia and loved the way it drove. In Feb I went to an Alfa dealer and traded my CT5 in on an Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The Stelvio is the best vehicle I’ve ever driven! Also a Major serious issue I found after trading my Cadillac the GM / Onstar had been selling my driving data to Lexis Nexis. The credit reporting agency Lexis Nexis had every detail, what date I drove my car, how many miles I drove, how I drove it and the exact times of the trip. Lexis Nexis then sold this information to the Auto Insurance companies who used the data to raise my rates! So I still think the CT5 is a beautiful, quality car. It’s just a little boring to drive and feels like a much simpler older car under its shiny skin. GM and Cadillac on the other hand have upset me so much by selling my data without my permission that I would never under any circumstance buy a gm product again. Period

The Best Car We’ve Ever Owned
My wife’s first remarks after I announced the purchase of the CT5-V was “oh no, we’re not buying an old man’s car, are we?” That all changed after picking up the car and she drove home. “This is the best car we’ve ever owned!” Was repeated 3 times in the drive from London to Guelph. The car is unbelievably comfortable. It’s beautiful too. And before I forget to mention, it’s a blast to drive. While we do find the back seat a little tight for some people to get into, we really don’t care because we don’t pile people into the back more than a few times a year. The handling is superb. Point the car where you want to go and hit the gas as hard as you’d like. The traction control keeps you in your line no matter what the road conditions. We’ve had several cars over the years, including Mercedes and Saab. This one makes them all look like entry level cars. One thing we recommend, upgrade the interior package. It’s a cheap enough upgrade and worth every penny. This upgrade allows the V to compete against much more expensive cars like the Merc E and BMW 5.

Love my new 2023 Cadillac CT5 Sport
I am absolutely in love with this car. I had two BMW's prior to this vehicle, both used when purchased. I had been researching the CT5 and made the decision to lease a new one. I am so happy I did. The styling is outstanding. I am very happy with the performance, the attention to details, technology, interior fit and quality, etc., etc., etc. It certainly measures up to my perception of cadillac. Wish I would have looked at Cadillac sooner. By the way, the sport mode in this car.... Awesome!!

Best Value for a luxury sedan
It is interesting how many compliments I receive even from teenagers and young adults! They love the body style and Garnett color as well. I love the ride, the quietness, the sound system and the interior is simple yet elegant! I read some of the car company reviews saying it lack luster for the interior. I beg to argue. I even have the smaller engine and it has plenty of power. It has been a great vehicle.
Hot rod in a grandpa car!
Traded my 2014 XTS vSport Caddy in about 1 1/2 years ago on a new '22 CT5-V (not the Blackwing). Got a great trade-in deal, but of course the new car was pricey. Has about 10K on it now. Absolutely no problems so far. It's vivid white and a beauty that gets the attention of young and old alike. (I'm the latter.) Multiple driving modes depending on your mood. It's a bit smaller and stiffer than my XTS, but I like it.
