Okay, if you are looking for a hot car, that makes muscle car noises, and accelerates like a bat out of Hell, this is not the car for you. If, however, you like riding around with the top down, in a car that feels sporty on the road, but is as comfortable as any Buick ever made, look no further. The car has okay acceleration, but it is not "zippy". On the Interstate, it doesn't jump when you hit the pedal, and one has to take that into consideration. If you are looking for something different, keep looking, but if that is not high on your list of "must haves", you can be sure that the engine is fine, and I have noted that when just cruising Cascadas can keep up with a Benz doing 120, and one has to look at the speedometer to see any difference between the ride at 60. It is one smooth car. As for comfort... let's just say that I made the trip from Pennsylvania to Miami without an overnight stop, and my back did not want to have me tried for war crimes. I love this car!

Just got our Cascada and have been pleased with all. It is agile, handles well, peppy, thought the 1.6L turbo would be sluggish for a 2-ton vehicle but it’s not! Premium fuel (91+) required for best performance, will have to get used to an extra $10-12 per fill-up. Great comments from observers, it is a very sporty, well designed, auto!
