Fun to Drive
The ride is smooth. However in sport plus on regular streets will snap you back a bit. The exterior styling is great and you will get looks and comments. Not a true M Car but the M40i makes more sense for a daily driver. X4 M40i and X4M 0-60 times are too close to justify paying $10,000 more for the privilege of driving an M car

Great ride
We had an 2014 x3. It was time to get a new car and we decided on a new x4. This suv is amazing. Every thing about it says "nice". Enough power, beautiful interior and just the right amenities.

Mama’s new grocery getter with pizazz
My wife wanted something roomy and practical that doesn’t look like everybody else’s Mom SUV. We’ve had two BMWs and a Mercedes. We drove the X3, which had a great, familiar feel. The 2022 X4 is a step up - a beefier, heavier ride. Fair amount of room in the back seat and hatch. Nice high-end interior with a big infotainment system. We are very happy with it. Even prettier in person, get a better sense of it being an SUV.

Cross over to a beauty
I leased this car by accident. I returned my Leased BMW 5 series and I really didn’t want a car so close to the ground, BMW didn’t have the X6 in stock and I didn’t want anything else. So, the salesman tried his best to make me happy by presenting a white x4 with red interior, which wasn’t on the lease car list. I was so excited when I saw the car and to my surprise I left that day with the x4. Three years later I just couldn’t part from it, such a beautiful car and the ride and functionality of the car is top notch… I just had to purchase it! Let me tell you, the least to purchase went so well that BMW will always have my business… they have the power and the etiquette to make their customers happy, and I appreciate their dedication and professionalism.

2023 X4 m package
My 2023 X4 BMW you go down the road and all you hear is noise coming from the passenger side window and driver side window bad I keep wanting to put my windows up but they already are up I have complained to BMW of North America already I am waiting for them to look into this issue. Also with Facebook BMW USA people are stating the same thing they have taken their cars in to the dealership this is a matter of manufacture issue. I want a new car I do not want the one I just purchased 3 months ago. Because they cannot fix this issue. If they can which I doubt I will leave another review others having this issue please post let people know about a lot of wind noise coming through the windows. Especially on a windy day cross Breeze you can have the radio turn Sky High and you still here the noise it's just not acceptable I've had many of BMW never had this issue I've only got 600 miles on my car.

X4 refined refined refined!
I’ve owned my 2022 X4 for 5 months now and loving this SUV. Beginning with the interior, so refined and no detail overlooked. Beats even the Porsche Macan for comfort and interior design. Easy to use entertainment system and so many features. Including 2 ea sensory modes, gps based auto down window function ( handy if you enter the same parking garage daily and you have to scan a key card). Not a single rattle or vibration within the entire cabin. Very quiet in city driving and on the highway. Standard 4 cyl turbo has plenty of acceleration easily hitting 0-60 in less than 5.8 seconds. Faster than the Macan. The suspension has also been redesigned and tuned to improve comfort without compromising that athletic feel. I’ll also suggest synthetic leather seats. They are very breathable. They look great with the accented stitching. You can see that they will age well. Transmission is flawless. Dual exhaust tailpipes look so cool. My favorite within this class of vehicle.

Surprisingly Muscular sports suv
Stong Engine sound that reveals the power underneath its hood. This may not be the most desired sound for the luxury quiet car lovers. Ever time I turn on the car, heads turn and wonder. Imptressive

The BMW X4 is sleek, sporty, exhilarating, and domineering. I love the sporty top curve style. The power when needed and the stylish comfortable seats that embraces your every move. The BMW X4 has surpassed my expectations. I made an excellent choice.

Eye candy
I love this car so much. It moves like water no regrets update: still love the x4 and its now 10 months later my only complaint is maintanance 1700 for breaks and breakpad replacement is a bit expensive other that things like that i wouldn't wanna drive anything else. currently looking to purchase the 2023/2024 x4 or x6.

The more time I spend with it the more I like it!
I had a GV70 and traded to the X4 to get away from the Genesis dealer dumpster fire and the unreliability of the GV70. The X4 is not as fancy or gadgety as the GV70, but I feel more at home and in control back in a German vehicle, especially a BMW. It looks sleeker than an ordinary SUV and has all the utility we need. The base engine is plenty lively. In my 60 plus years of driving, this is one of my favorites, and I intend to replace my 2022 with the '24 or '25 X4 before we can no longer buy gasoline powered vehicles. My only regret is having bought the over-hyped GV70 in the first place.

Dumpster car, dumpster service, fraud warranty
Wife bought a BMW X4 (2022) with 30k miles on it. After 3000 miles of driving it began going into limp mode and had to be shut off and restarted, sometimes on a highway...she brought it to BMW where they refused to honor the warranty because the fleet company (that she was decieved about being the previous owner) put an aftermarket oil filter on their last oil change...absolutley horrible and quite frankly illegal policies. Will be also filing a Texas AG complaint. Will never own or recommend BMW ever again, do yourself a favour and buy a Volvo Cx60 or Audi Q5 instead

Luxury and Reasonable
The 2023 X4 is a step up from my 2021 X3. There are upgrades that were very good. The power start button is now next to you on the console. There is no need to constantly pull a shade over your trunk. The speed limits are clearly next to your setting for cruise control on your dash and the dash is thoroughly upgraded with a digital format. Of course, the main reason to switch is the style which gives this car a new and sportier look .

Misinfo on X4 x-drive 30i
You can get adapted cruise on the 30i. Also heads up display is available. For a time they weren’t available because of chip shortage. I have put 1400 miles on mine and getting 30.6 mpg. Have not even used the eco drive. Setting all the options up is confusing. Their drivers manual is terrible and that’s being kind. All said and done I love the car!!!

Phil MCKrakin
Yahooty! My M40i is just the kind of midlife crisis mobile I wanted. The 6 has so much power! The cabin is quiet plenty. And handle? Yessiree! They put a beautiful paint job on it called Piemonte, kinda maroon. Quality leather and an understated interior just like BMW does with all their cars. Elegant though. It has enough gizmos and whiz bangs for most techno people. Options can get expensive though. Love it.

Driving Beauty
I love my new BMW , it was everything I was looking for , from the exterior to the interior, I had to drive miles to get her, but she was definitely worth the drive ❤️❤️❤️
Solid medium crossover from BMW
For me, x3 is too small while the X5 feels heavy and bulky. The X4 is the perfect size, and great wide look. Car feels zipper than a standard SUV, and the unique look is nice. Also since it’s not a popular model, it does standout in the crowded field of X3 and X5 and Ys.

Exceeds expectations
Replaced a 2020 X5. Getting 24 around town and 30+ on the interstate.. Comfortable and unless you have a big family space is not a problem. Little if any lean into the corners. Brakes are a little touchy and take getting used to. Definitely more fun than either the X3 or X5.

Former X3 Hybrid Owner
Nice tight handling. Great seats compared to X3. Back window provides limited visibility.
Utilitarian, yet sporty
I now have had this SAV for three weeks and I love it. It's super tight handling exudes confidence with enormous elements of safety. The X3 was way too boxy, but, still a nice ride. The X4 is unique in design in that it handles like a sports coupe with all the capabilities of an SUV. Not a bad combo meal.

Never again
I really don’t like the car at all. So sorry I bought it. I must admit, part of it is my fault for not doing enough research. I had no idea how few options the car came with. I added the M sport and premium packages and it still doesn’t have things like automatic high beams, cooled seats and easy-exit. And forget the brake pads. They’re so soft that my wheels are covered with dust by the time I get home from the car wash. Lousy acceleration too. NEVER AGAIN.
Bouncy Tin Can
What a rough riding vehicle! You feel every small imperfection in the road. If you hit a pothole, it’ll rattle the fillings in your teeth.

First time with Beamer...
We love the styling and look if our X4 M40i. The interior is luxurious and well made. Plenty of tech, safety, and convenience features. The cargo space is limited but that fits our lifestyle just fine. We are empty nester's and enjoy the style and incredible performance we get from our X4. It is just fun to drive and not terrible in fuel efficiency in the process. We could not be happier with our purchase for the first few months we've owned the X4. Long term satisfaction is yet to be termined but all signs are very positive.
