Used 2019 Acura TLX Consumer Reviews
2018 Acura TLX 2.4L 8-DCT Tech Pkg
Bought this car 2 weeks ago with <32K on it CPO. It surpasses our 2012 TSX 2.4L Tech Pkg, which was a really good car, in every important respect--power delivery, ride, composure, steering, noise. It is comparably quiet to our 2014 Lexus GX460 Luxury. Even though the engine has only 5 more hp than the TSX, it feels much quicker and more responsive and less taxed at higher revs. The 8-speed double clutch is responsible for most of that. The ride is settled and compliant but sure-footed. The car turns in nicely and stays flat and planted in normal driving, even more spirited normal driving than most people probably do. Foot room in the back is much improved over the TSX (which was smaller), and adults can be comfortable in back, but this is not the class of car you buy if back seat room is a major priority. I'm coming out of an S2000 and I love this car more than I thought I would--though I knew I would like it a lot. Throw in all the tech and the fantastic sound system and you have a hell of a package. Feels solid and well-built the way an Acura should. Update 10 Nov 2021: Still loving the TLX. No issues. Will probably test-drive the Integra when it comes out, just to row through the 6-speed if nothing else, but I would have to seriously fall in love to consider trading this in.

TLX is the perfect sedan
My wife and I both love the car. Just wish it had a sift lever and not push buttons for the tranny. Have the V6 and easily get 36 mpg on the highway have hit 40 mpg a couple times if I don’t push it. 25-28 around town and have the quiet power when I need it!!!! Great car and great value.

Love my normally aspirated V-6 TLX
So it may not have the “BMW PURIST” pedigree of RWD AND +350HP & I am ok with that cuz in the rain it tracks like it’s on rails and puts a smile on my face during a pedestrian 25 mile commute. Yeah the 9 speed can be glitchy and I have to Plug the iPhone in to get CarPlay to function but damn - it’s paid for and has less than 20k on the odometer and as much as I can lust for a Type S and that extra 60 HP I can trust it will keep running for many years to come. It’s fantastic on the highway and likes 80mph and is quiet and a beautiful blue work of art in style and design. Yeah, I’m happy with it

Snow
Recently drove up to Montana. First snow of the season and the front radar system got covered in snow and ice. The dashboard lite up like a Xmas tree. Said that Cruz & crash warnings not working?? No setup to keep it warm ? So it doesn’t freeze?
