Re: 2013 Porsche 911S & 9114S [flyinbrian1]
Written by: habitat1 on Jan 14, 2013 1:05:39 PM
So the lease residual is lower for the new 4S than the 2S? I am looking at leasing a 2013 Carrera 4S and my sales person was guessing the residual would be higher on the 4S, I'd have been shocked if the residual percentage was as high or higher on the 4 vs. the 2. The MSRP price differential is $6,700 and from what I have seen, the resale value of ... Read More

Good question akitaboo. I haven't heard about any sort of significant dealer cash on 2011 911 models yet, but then again Porsche is fairly secretive about such matters. Some times they just give their local dealer reps a certain amount of money and have them go around to dealers dolling it out. I'll ask around and see if there's anything out there. 911 Lease Rate
Written by: jay_c on Apr 7, 2011 8:48:17 AM
Any ideas on what the PFS rates are for April, 2011? I'm looking at a 2011 911 C2 and the rates I'm being quoted are .0025 (6%)/ 58% residual / 36 mo / 15,000/yr. I have top tier credit and 6% seems outrageous. Is Porsche offering any lease promotions on the 911 in a 24 or 36 month lease? I've been unable to confirm PFS's actual money factors. Thanks.

Hi charles953. The .00230 money factor that you were quoted is Porsche Financial Services' buy rate for the 2011 911 for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. If the dealer tries to charge you anything higher than that either you don't qualify for the top tier or they are trying to mark your car's money factor up to add additional hidden, back-end profit to your deal.
