Many, many problems! A lot of what I've already read - Ignition coils (all 6), sliding door - sticks and doesn't operate properly, and now the tranny - it's in the shop right now. I actually have filled almost 10 pages of a notebook because our experience has been so surreal. I even bought the extended Mazda Canada warranty, only to find out time and time again that nothing was covered.
It's fun to drive and zippy when needed. Fuel economy is decent - I regularly get 27-29 mpg. The fold away 3rd seat is handy. Optional captain chairs or bench seat with an easy slide has proven helpful.
From my experience, more quality parts and a more trustworthy and reliable warranty. The cargo space is very small and it gets even smaller at the top (as you close the back door).
