Review
After almost 5 years ownership experience, this has been a solid vehicle, compared to other vehicles I've owned (since 1973). I bought an extended warranty, but only worth about half the cost of the warranty (i.e., the warranty repairs, had I paid out of pocket, would have been half the cost of the extended warranty, so far). The repairs have been common or expected items; AC condenser, crank position sensor, water pump. The diesel has definitely been worth it. I can get 20-22 mpg on the highway, fully loaded; 15.5 mpg on my daily commute. I tow a 9000lb travel trailer (10 mpg); mountain passes, or starting on a grade shows the PowerStroke's muscle.
Favorite Features
7.3L PowerStroke Diesel. When the rear seat is removed, there's 5'x4.5' cargo area, like a pickup, but still seats 5. When seating 7 or 8, there's still room for plenty of luggage.
Suggested Improvements
Left (driver) armrest is on the door; too hard, uncomfortable on long drives.
