2011 Dodge Charger R/T 4dr Sedan AWD (5.7L 8cyl 5A)
We are very impressed with our new 2011 Dodge Charger R/T and delighted we opted for AWD, a "must have" in the Northeast. Our new Charger was ordered all "optioned out" and the price was still below that of its rivals.
Great gas mileage, as high as 32 MPG on the highway; stunning good looks - retro, but still clean, modern and contemporary; best in business navigation, entertainment system, climate controls and Blue-tooth technology; unsurpassed built quality, reliability, ride and handling; and superior traction, safety features and customer service from Dodge.
No complaints, just a few suggestions: The addition of a panorama sun or moonroof option; the choice of a six speed or higher gated automatic transmission (coming next year, we have been told) and the return of a Dodge Magnum-like touring wagon version based on the '11 Charger and Chrysler 300C, as we miss the utility of our 2008 Magnum R/T with AWD); and the availability of AWD on the amazing 2012 6.2 liter HEMI V8 Charger SRT-8 (on display at the 2011 New York International Auto Show that we simple lusted over. The '12 SRT-8 is a RWD car only, according to Chrysler's PR staff answering questions at the NYC show.
My only words of advice: Check out the stellar 2011 Chrysler 300/300C, too.
