Chrysler T&C/Dodge Grand Caravan brakes

  • Re: going on third set of brakes [chp3ril]

I bought a 2010 Grand Voyager in Australia (same as Town & Country in US). At my 2nd service at 24,000kms/9months I was told I needed to replace pads AND rotors as there are under "minimum thickness" and therefore unroadworthy. After being told its a wear and tear item and therefore not covered by warranty I jumped on Google only to find this happens on 300Cs as well and its common ... Read More

My wife wanted Red, so I was limited in what I could buy. There were a ton of left over 2010 T&C's on auto trader . com. If she would have taken white I'd have gotten it cheaper.. I wanted a 4.0 Limited, she wanted red. I got mine at Carl Burgers in the San Diego area, but it was the only 2010 they had left. The guy didn't really want ... Read More

Did you ever figure out what the problem was with your T&C?? I have a 2008 Town and Country with the EXACT same problem. I turn the key and get 1 single click. All the electrical stuff is fine. No battery issues. This happened a few weeks ago and when we had it TOWED to the dealer it magically started working again. They replaced the battery cables saying it probably wasn't ... Read More

I have a 2010 town and country that is stalling out. It is still under warranty. The dealership "thinks" it's a problem with they key switching into the acc position which essentially stalls the car. Since the dealership cannot get the problem to happen in front of them they are unwilling to fix. The las time it stalled I looked and indeed the key had moved to the acc position. I ... Read More

I was told that I was being given a rebate to cover my last three payments, so I thought it sounded good. I also had $983.00 for unused mileage coming to me as a refund. The T&C with the tow package includes the self leveling rear suspension and I thought it drove much better and the steering feedback was much better than the GC. What baffles me a little is the tow rating, 3500 lbs? My 2005 was rated at 3800 lbs with tow package...and has smaller engine? I'd love to see a Diesel version on the market, I'm hearing that'll happen in 2009 for Chrysler, ... Read More
