i just got a 4x4 1993 chevy suburban ,automatic, i love it, but i got it cheap because it had "tranny problems" ive been driving it, but to get into 3rd gear i have to floor it, and it wont go above 4th. Im not sure if it has a bad torque converter or if its the whole transmission? the previous owner said he tried changing the filter and the fluid.. ... Read More

My fuel pump module on the 1999 Suburban finally died last week. I replaced it with an aftermarket Bosch unit, which at $250 was less than half what the dealer OEM pump cost. I replaced the fuel filter at the same time. Now our gas gauge is working again, a side effect of replacing a bad pump. Compared to the 1993 Chevy Astro we used to own, the quality of the ... get a volt meter and test to see if the line to the fuse is live or not. check your rear brakes and all the parts around the wheel hubs.

Just bought a 1993 chevy burb. The dome lights do not work. The lights under the hood, the dash lights, and the door lights that light up the window buttons work also.
