- Audi has decided that if one SUV is good, two must be better as it's currently working on a small sport utility based on the A4 platform. With a base price of roughly $35,000, the 2009 Audi Q5 will compete against the likes of the BMW X3 as well as the Land Rover LR2. The U.S. version will be available with both four-cylinder and V6 engines, while Audi plans to offer a V8-equipped version in Europe.
