Great car with some puzzling quirks
Interior & truck storage barely adequate. Needed a retrofit to mount Volvo's own roof rack. Great safety features & outstanding highway handling & comfort.

Obscenely fast and comfortable sports sedan. Well thought out controls. Very stable platform. With the addition of snow tires a go anywhere winter vehicle.

It is an "OK" car
There are several things I don't like. I can hear alot of road noise. My husbands Lincoln is super quiet. It has a much slower response time from a dead stop than expected even when using the S transmission. The heater controls are just weird. Windows fog up unless the defrost is on, but you can't use the defrost and the floor heat at the same time. The bluetooth is wonky and hard to use. If I am listening to the radio the phone rings but can not be used thru the car unless I choose the phone, phones gps doesn't work unless I use media. Cars GPS/map won't work unless connected to the internet, idk how that even works if you are driving? It is a nice car, has alot of very good safety features. The AWD is amazing in the snow. The car handles very well. I like to occasionally drag race friends a little, this is NOT the car for that which is disappointing since it has a turbo. It is OK but I prefer my Nisson Altima

A Beautifully Well-Rounded Sedan
I bought the 2017 T5 Inscription AWD and I’ve owned it for 3 years now. It’s been a pleasure to drive throughout college and commuting to work in the city. I have 89,000 miles on it currently, and I have not had any issues besides the usual maintenance, which can be pretty pricey. I love the Polestar optimization software that I added at the dealership, which is definitely worth the $$ and I have truly seen great improvements in accelerating quickly. It is a surprisingly quick car! While an unpopular opinion, I think this car is attractive and its design is incredibly sleek & elegant. The leather seats are comfortable for small road trips and the heated leather seats kick in with no delay. INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED I do not have a heated steering wheel in this car. The technology is pretty archaic, but the blind spot lights are SO helpful. They sometimes glitch in rainy weather though & go off randomly… Trunk space is minimal, but it has worked for me. Cabin storage space is also severely lacking, I can never find a spot for my phone. I’m not sure what the gas mileage is advertised as, but I average around 21-23 mpg. Do I drive it a bit aggressively? Sure, but never recklessly. It is a bit of a gas guzzler. I love this car. It is a reassuringly reliable car assuming you do maintenance every 10-15K miles, but maintenance & gas are quite expensive. It is a great, safe car that I’ve had the pleasure of owning.
