I'm sorry I bought this car

This vehicle drives well and gets great gas mileage. However, it has lots of glitches. The glitches outweigh the good and I’m already over this vehicle, and I’ve owned it only 4.5 months. The ventilation system is horrible. If you have hot feet, this vehicle is for you. No matter the setting you've selected, you have cold air blowing on your feet. Defrost or upper body only selected; don't worry, you'll also get cold air blowing onto your feet. I've been told by the Service Consultant, that ALL of the VWs have air blowing at your feet at all times for circulation reasons. I don’t know how this helps my circulation, but, I guess VW knows best. What is the purpose of the Owner’s Manual and Instrument Panel instructions stating air can be ventilated from specific vents, yet it blows from vents where you don't want it? MY FEET ARE FREEZING! I only wish it were the recirculation of the hot air I'm getting from all the management at the VW dealership and VW Care blowing at my feet. I kept receiving Emergency Management Alerts from a different state issued three months before I bought the car; I spent hours and days at the dealership looking for a fix. Three managers and the Service Consultant couldn't fix the problem, but I finally figured it out; I moved to that state and went back in time. CloudTex and Cloth seats - watch your legs in hot weather. Your backside will get burnt to a crisp. I haven't had this happen since the vinyl seats in my '79 Super Beetle.

I love my 2025 Taos SE 4motion

I am very pleased with my new vehicle. The eight speed transmission is a big improvement over last year's DSG tranny.(I drove both 2024 and 2025). I have learned not to floor the accelerator when needing extra speed. Instead, I just push the pedal partially down. Then there's no turbo lag. My only issues are the climate touch controls and the heavy hatch door. So far, I am averaging 30 mpg in a mix of city and highway miles.
