TDI 6 SPEED MANUAL
Great value surprisingly quick Over 50 mpg highway , mid 40s in suburbs VW should offer a sunroof for manual drivers and power passenger seat.

Hard to beat 42 MPG Hwy in a family sedan.
A true manual would be awesome, but I'm a purist. At 603 and 300 lbs. getting in/out is troublesome, but its a great ride for long distances. Maintenance free. Just change the oil every 10K. For diesel change the fuel filter every 40-50K miles too.

Stoop to Conquer
This is an excellent car - quick, fairly comfortable, great handling and incredible mileage (36 hwy). But, if you're older, like me, it's a pain to get into and out of due to the low roof line. Also, it is hard to load and unload the trunk because of the smallish opening. However, it does have a big trunk. And the back seats are really roomy, nice. Did I mention it's kinda noisy - as bad as my Outback. But, hoo baby, this car moves! And I never tried the sport setting on the transmission.

As solid as a brick My first car
I bought this car in February of 2018 with 40,000 miles. This is my first car, first off the pricing is fantastic, i bought this car for 10,000 mean while its worth at least 14,000. this car handles better than my uncles 2010 camaro ss its insane how linear this car is. gas mileage is fantastic. no rattles and squeaks at all! my favorite thing about this car is the turbo, if you drive with the windows down and turn your radio off you can hear it spooling up as you head up to 2500 rpm. unfortunately i got into an accident but fortunately this car is very structurally strong and very solid a drunk driver in my neighborhood hit my car at 30 miles an hour driving a ford fusion it completely destroyed the front of his car and got totaled. my car had a bent inwards grill and my hood was raised not even an inch. very safe car.

2015 Passat cylinders blew under 50K mi!!
I loved driving this car. Smooth ride, lots of room, great power acceleration, and comfort. Everything written about it seemed true. Car has less than 50K miles and left me on the side of the road with EPC and battery light on, plus other lights flashing at me. Mechanic said 2 cylinders were no longer working! I was stunned that something would malfunction so soon. No previous 'clues' that anything was going wrong; oil changed on time, etc. We had a previous 1998 Passat that lasted 120K miles, and we got rid of it after power train broke and electronics started going haywire on us. (things like windows would go up/down on their own). We've read many positive things about VW Passats, and thought we try again with 2015. So, after our VW experiences, we will never buy another VW again.
