I just love VW Passat Wagons!

Very pleased with long distance driving and riding in our Volkswagen Passat Wagon! The seats are very comfortable on the lower back. It has plenty of room for back seat passengers and lots of trunk space. It has a very quiet cabin and at 75 mph you feel as though you're going 45 mph. It also has a great stereo system. I love the heated front seats! City driving is equally pleasing. We had a 2002 Passat Wagon before getting a 2005. We love the product and will be getting a 2008 in the future! Go and get it....you won't be disappointed. It has a nice solid design and well made construction! I love those German cars, they have great craftmanship!

Going strong 205,000 miles

Bought ours new. We did have to replace the transaxle at about 120,000 miles. Also have replaced both front fenders and rear tailgate door due to corrosion after approximately 150,000 miles. Also reupholstered front seats at 200,000 miles. Diesel fuel economy fantastic and this year 2005 was just prior to VW TDI recall. My understanding is this car was built in year prior to VW installing cheating software. The handling on this can is very good. Not great in snow conditions as small lightweight Diesel engine doesn’t put much weight over front wheel drive. Suspension a bit jarring over potholes but otherwise firm & sure on the road. Surprisingly peppy for a diesel and has no problem cruising at 90+ mph if you’re so inclined. Cargo space is very good especially with rear seats folded down. I love this car and expect to drive it to 300,000 miles plus.

Fun, Powerful, Addictive

I have own my Passat TDI for 10 months already and every day I like it more. This is a really fun car to drive. I have never enjoyed driving a car as I do with my Passat. It is powerful and fast. I also have a Toyota Tundra V8, and it feels anemic compared to the Passat TDI. It provides you with a lot of power at low RPMs. It feels like the car is very powerful in a nice effortless fashion since it doesn't need to shitf gears to accelerate. Now if it shifts...wow...get ready because it feels like a jet. Of course, fun and fual efficiency don't go together, but it is nice to know you have the choice to get 40 mpg if you want to.

I really enjoy my Passat, because it is reliable and fun to drive. The interior is very comfortable; it has heated seating that really helps in the winter. My favorite thing about the car is the AWD. It drives wonderfully in the winter weather with no problems at all. You can hardly tell that you are driving in snow and ice. The car is quite and drives smooth. You can hardly tell that you are driving it. This car has definitly made VW the top car for me. I will never buy anything else other than a VW.
