Cabrio
Overall, the car is great, however, I've only had it for about a year and a half and have already had to put it in the shop a few times for minor problems (the radio volume did not go to soft.) If you're looking for a cute convertible that's good in the winter as well as the summer, the cabrio's a good choice
Don't buy one...you'll be sorry
My volkswagen has been in the shop 5 times in six months for repairs. The door handles peel, the steering wheel column makes a scratching noise, the airbag had to be fixed. Also, customer service for VW is very bad. No loaner cars, inability to fix a problem on the first try...or to order the appropriate part.

great little car!
I have been very happy with my Cabrio GLX. It has been very reliable and is lots of fun to drive. I would happily buy the car again.
It's a Love/Hate relationship...
I wanted a cabrio for years and have truly enjoyed the vehicle. It's been great for both road trips and around town...very comfy, lots of fun, and plenty of zip for me. Performs extremely well at high speeds. However - I am less than satisfied with the A/C, peeling door handles, cup holders, and the locking/security system. I'm about to take the car in for the 3rd time to fix the A/C (leaking & blowing white powder), the 5th time for the locks (passenger door won't lock from inside), and the handles peeled within 4 mths of ownership. Very discouraging!! Especially in the Texas heat!!
Love my cabby
It is too late to buy a new cabby, they are out of production, glad I did not wait!
