Not a smooth ride

I love the aesthetics of the New Atlas and the interior is well designed and spacious. I did not like the way it drove, it wasn’t as smooth as I had hoped. There was a decent amount of road noise accelerating onto the highway.

Great Car, sound system sucks

I love driving Atlas. But the factory sound system is horrible, thousands of users reporting of this bad sound system on multiple forums. But VW doesn't care. I thought of switching to SEL Premium with premium fender system. But that premium system is no exception, equally horrible.

Got a Pyrite Silver one. Outstanding in looks, comfort, and features. Bought this for wife's retirement. Its a luxurious SUV; beautiful at all angles. Very quiet. Exterior lighting is impressive; including courtesy lighting on door and hatch. We have less than 1000 miles at this point; this car far exceeds our demands. We considered Cadillac, Honda, and Kia - which have great options in the 3 row, v6, suv category - the roominess and aesthetics won us.
