Used 2023 Volkswagen Atlas Consumer Reviews
Family of Four. Extremely Happy.
I love this suv. There is more room than I know what to do with. Regularly fit 2 six plus footers in the third row and still have plenty of room for 5 more adults. The tech features are great, even without the technology package. I have not had any problems except having to take it in for the door harness recall. 2 years old and 20k miles. Extremely Happy.

Safety Features & Technology are Excellent
I recieved my 2023 VW Atlas R-Line as a Christmas gift from my mother. I didn't like the Atlas at first since I had my heart set on a Cadillac Escalade. The safety & driver assistance features so far are outstanding, the anti collision and back-up assistance has already saved countless lives. The vehicle stopped when I was backing up saving a young boy who ran behind my Atlas in a shopping mall parking lot. The forward-collision warning had engaged within enough time to prevent me from rear-ending a Honda Civic. I had owned a 2004 VW Passat 4-Motion which was great, but it definitely doesn't compare to the Atlas. This is my first VW SUV and I absolutely love driving it. I feel completely safe in this vehicle. I'm a tall guy since my height is 6'5 the interior has plenty of space even with all my friends, this has become the road trip top pick when we decide to travel out of town.
Nice upgrade on 2018

Volkswagen Nightmare: A Cautionary Memo
My experience with Volkswagen has been incredibly disappointing. I purchased a brand-new vehicle in March 2023, only to encounter repeated malfunctions that kept it in the shop for over 50 days. Despite my attempts to resolve the issues, Volkswagen refused to buy it back, forcing me to trade it in at another dealership. Now, my 2024 model, an Atlas purchased from a different dealership, has been in service from January to June 2024, with its most recent stint starting on May 16th. This continuous cycle of repairs is far from what I expected when purchasing a new vehicle. I've accumulated over 15 service receipts for a car that was only six months old. Based on my own frustrating experience and the similar issues faced by others, I strongly caution against purchasing any Volkswagen vehicle. It has been nothing short of a nightmare.
