2023 Nissan Pathfinder
Sounds like the 2022 Pathfinder had some issues, but if my experience is any indication, they've been worked out for 2023. The comfort level is great, technology is pretty great, Pro Pilot works in all but the most hairy driving situations, and it is spacious. I particularly love the set up they have for kids to climb in the back. The middle row seats have an electric motor than pushes … the seat forward and leans it all the way forward at the push of a button, leaving enough space for even an adult to climb to the back. This means way less kids climbing over seats and ruining upholstery. This feature really is the killer app for this vehicle.
The drive quality is not exciting, but what do you expect? It's a mid-sized SUV. The all wheel drive has performed well on the couple of snow days we've had it for so far and has done okay on the dirt/sand we've taken it on. However, an off roader this is not. It DOES pull our fully loaded trailer without a sweat, so that's another plus.
For what it is designed to do: transport kids and groceries, while having the chops to make it through a snowy commute, the Pathfinder is a dream. You're not going to take it to track days or climb the slickrock in Moab, but, then again, that's not what it is for.
