2009 Maserati Quattroporte
I've owned Masi since 2014, bought with 26k miles. Car has run very well as a daily driver averaging 15k miles per year. Has broken down only 2x in 6yrs. Every breakdown is expensive; $2.7k for alternator failure; $2.4k for coolant hose to heat exchanger failure (behind engine). Overall a great car; technology could use major upgrades. Looks like a new model QP and runs just as good as … new! Only complaint would be horrible suspensions parts - have gone through 3 sets of bushings and ball joints which last around 30-40k miles before replacement is needed from banging over potholes and bad roads. Rotors can be hand turned 1x, 2nd time needs replacement - spent $2,500 for brake job last summer replacing all 4 rotors and pads. Rotors are very expensive. Set aside $2,000/yr for maintenance.
