Nothing but problems! Buyer beware!

Warped rotors within 1000km of driving off the lot. TOYOTA wouldn't cover under warranty and said I had to only use the brakes for 10 seconds at a time, let rest for 5 seconds, down shift at all times. 4X4 problems and not to mention the lack of ground clearance, can't even drive an off road truckoff road without fear of destroying the bottom. Hybrid is brutal on fuel and the reliability of the truck is terrible! Over all power is actualy amazing for a 6 cylinder turbo but its not worth the problems and the money. Keep away!

I drive Tundra from 2000 to now. This new model, 6 Cylinder, are so cheap truck. Not the good quality as before. Something like trash. Every accessories are so cheap, everything will be damage in the first year. Is a headache. Transmission feels pretty bad. I reported 5 times, but dealer mechanics said “It’s ok”. Dang. I am very disappointed with 2023 Toyota Tundra. Not a good truck anymore

2023 Toyota tundra limited 4x4

I bought this 2023 and 2022 at first it was a great vehicle then about a year later little things started happening to it AC went out I twisted a front CV axle four-wheel drive pulling a heavy trailer out of the mud shouldn't have snapped. My motor when you start it has a slight detonation knock supposably it's normal I think it's a detonation knock or a lower end up on other two but it just happens right when you start it right before it starts. Radio not broke side of the seat broke everything feels so cheap on it like instead of built in Japan with Japan parts I think they moved to China or something with their product I don't know I'm just saying. I traded in my 2023 trail Boss because I lifted it and put bigger tires and I totally screwed it up by doing that didn't like how it ride after that in my wife did not like the vehicle but since I had this one I shouldn't have never traded in. Me personally I wish I would have never bought this vehicle. I am a Toyota guy always been nothing but Toyota except for that Silverado I wanted to try something else. I wish Toyota would have built it like the 2021s and below with the V8 that will never break down and no worries about the motor. I'm completely scared about my motor I do not have a motor recall yet and I'm running out of miles before my factory warranty expires I might have to get extended I have never bought extended before but I probably will with this one if I decide to get it keep it. Vehicle itself I like it I like the interior I like the outside it looks sharp just everything feel so cheap. Toyota Toyota used to be known for the reliability under engines transmissions and vehicles itself when you bought their odor vehicles eat any and have to buy a warranty and not be afraid. This last generation you better buy one. Also and you're always going to be paying Toyota something for your remote start and your cell phone capability they're trying to screw their customers to be honest. If Toyota if Toyota sees this post y'all made a big mistake y'all should have kept the same design Make the part a little bit thicker even the plastic Make it thicker and kept the old 5.7 or a 4.6 engine y'all did a horrible job on this vehicle thank thank God my engine hasn't blew up yet I do my maintenance but at this point I hope I get a recall on the engine like everybody else's but I haven't got one at least I know if I get an engine recall I might not have to worry about the motor for a while with my luck I will go over the 60,000 mile powertrain warranty and the motor goes out I already know I have bad luck lol not even sure if I'm keeping this vehicle I'm thinking about trading it in and getting a 2021 Toyota tundra 4x4 you can't go wrong with that year and below if I upset somebody for saying this but this is the God on his truth. Like I said I do like the vehicle itself but I'm afraid of it something else is going to break down I know it Right now I have 37,000 mi on it no trouble issues with the turbos no issues with the motor except that detonation knock or that slight knock when it first starts every once in awhile seems like early in the morning. If y'all decide to buy a Toyota be cautious do your research first get on Facebook forms and ask people how's their experience on these new Toyotas or wait a few more years so they could get rid of all the flaws I waited one year thinking that they will get better since 2022 but still not. I've actually paid $10,000 more than I actually paid for my Silverado thinking I got a better vehicle it would have been 20,000 if I didn't get an awesome deal at the dealership they gave me 10,000 off of MSRP when I bought it and that was unheard of in 2022 I knew the dealership.

Toyota Misses the Mark

JE Cremer, 03/31/2025

I am a lifelong Toyota /Lexus driver (1st Toyota was 1971 Toyota Corona MkII) and have probably had 15 more - so I am a Toyota Loyalist until. The Tundra engine recall, despite putting a huge taint on my confidence in this vehicle (I won’t take on cross country trips because I don’t want it to fail 2000 miles from home), the trade in values on these vehicles are horrendous. Finally, I have a Platinum Hybrid 4wd and it advertised 22 mpg on highway and real world was 16mpg. Needed several trim pieces, new brakes and rotors because of noise and several other recalls. After 23 months of ownership and 30,000 miles I traded this car in and glad it is gone. I still love Toyota, but they really missed the Mark on the first couple years (2022-2023), I’m sure they will get all this corrected, but I would wait for a 2025 or even 2026!

Toyota Tundra Tires

Double D, 07/30/2024

Toyota decided to provide the Faulkner A/T Tires with the new vehicle purchase - At 30,000 miles this tire looks worn. The tires have been regularly rotated and checked at a dealer. The last Toyota Tundra I had was provided with Good Year Wrangler A/T tires that lasted up to 65,000 miles Providing Cheap Tires doesn't sell more vehicles.
