Great truck but a lot of recalls

Bought my 2023 Tundra April of 2023. Love everything about the truck. The interior is beautiful and the exterior looks sharp. I had no issues with the truck at all. My only gripe is all the small recalls on the truck and Toyota has no resolution.

vehicle is real nice BUT the fuel mileage is terrible as other models do somewhat better and the ride is a bit harsh/stiff until you get some weight in it, also the turning isn't quite as sharp as other trucks which makes it hard to get into tight parking spaces.

Noticeable vibration and some hesitation in drivetrain at take off and acceleration ! I still prefer it over the F150,RAM, and Silverado! I also own a used Truck/ car dealership for past 22 years and owned several Tundras and Lexus and believe in the superior reliability of Toyota .

I just traded a 2023 Tudra for a Ram 1500. Never owned a Toyota and never will again.Biggest peice of garbage I’ve ever owned. Transmission is clunky and slips and shifts very strangely. Had a recall on the Transmission which made it worse. Vehicle was parked after that due to being unsafe to drive because the engine may or may not stall at any time. This truck and ALL other Tundras should be removed from the hiways, they are dangerous. Do yourself a favor and research their engine.Mine was a manufacture date of 5/23 which according to Toyota is ok. They(corporate) as well as the dealer told me it’s not recalled (yet). When questioned they didn’t recommend carrying passengers, unbelievable. I lost $18,000 on this but at least I didn’t kill anyone. Imagine your new truck full of your precious children just shutting off when your cruising down the hiway at 70mph. Toyota needs to be sued out of existence for allowing these to remain on the road. The glory days of Toyota trucks are over. Do your research or you’ll be sorry! Don’t believe a word Toyota says. They don’t even deserve one star.

I love my 2023 Tundra 1794 edition. Drove it down and back to Arizona from Wyoming!! Performed like a charm. Won’t look to replace this beauty so it is my “last” truck I will ever own!!

Hubby finally pulled the trigger and got me a 23’ Tundra Limited! This truck is GORGEOUS. Ice cap white. I got the tech/lighting package with the upgraded media system and great bed lighting. Plus this awesome side button next to the taillamp that releases the gate. So you could push it with your elbow if your arms were full of cargo or something heavy. Also got the panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated seats.. Told hubby I needed a 4x4 just in case I wanna have some fun :) never hurts to have it! Didn’t get the JBL audio but I think the standard pioneer system gives decent sound for when you’re riding kid free. Lol. I wasn’t sure about air ventilation for my two kids being that we live in south Florida. But they’re always complaining that they’re COLD when we’re driving around so I guess that’s a good thing! The seats are firm but super supportive and comfortable. You feel like you’re in a big diesel truck in this thing. Idk why. Windshield is kind of narrow but still a commanding view. The WHOLE rear window rolls down in classic Toyota style. I didn’t get the hybrid but the engine power is great, just need to give it a little extra punch to feel that booooost! Gas is so/so, been averaging 15mpg. Ride is very smooth for a 4 wheel drive truck. I feel like I’m in an suv. And it doesn’t have the air suspension either. I got the 6.5 bed so you could fit everything and more in there. Everything in the cabin is thoughtfully laid out and practical, with tons of trays, cup holders and a wireless charger. Media system is pretty easy to use. I did notice the wind noise here and there at higher speeds but I’ve had the truck for about 3 weeks and it’s only happened a couple of times. Overall super happy with this beast. Feels like a dream. I think my only gripe is that the side steps and kind of tight to the body so you have to really pay attention when you’re stepping up so that you don’t slip, Went from a nightmare 2018 expedition limited max to this truck. Beautiful suv but a million issues, Ford service is the worst. So glad to be back in a Toyota. You just cannot compare to the solid quality. If your wife has been begging you to get her a truck… GET HER THIS ONE!

My Tundra Platinum is a complete vehicle in all ways. It’s a truck, but has all the comfort features of a luxury automobile.

The Toyota tundra from 2022 and older are awesome trucks as far as technology power and of course reliability. The Toyota tundra’s from 2023 and newer are unreliable underpowered overpriced junk! The V6 only option was a bad move and does not have enough power to pull a boat or camper like my older tundra. I gave that piece of garbage back to the dealer and bought a gmc sierra instead

Nice truck if you didn’t have to sit at Service two hours per month due to recalls, “risk of fire” etc, Many recall with no fix. Two warranty issues ignored and told not warranty ( battery cable explodes). Had enough so I went to Chevrolet after being a loyal Toyota customer. Then there’s the constant salesman hounding to buy another.

I purchased this Tundra with the intentions of keeping it. Some of the reviews concerned me, but I have not experienced any of these issues. The ride is great, no wind noise (NONE), handles like I expected, smooth and fast acceleration. She is a 6000 lb beast. The safety sensors work as they should. Gas mileage is a little better than the 5.7 V8. Only small con is I expected more out of the JBL system but it will do and it has a wide turning radius. I believe Toyota got the kinks out by late 2023 build.
