Perfect little truck for me with 4wd for winter
I test drove a Nissan Frontier in April the airbag light was on and it was hard to get it back out of 4wd. The same lot had a 14 F-150 with 135K for 16K. I bought that truck, I thought it was a nice truck it was bigger than I needed and that 3.5L Eco boost sucked down more gas than my aunts same truck with a V8. I took the truck to a mechanic and found out I got screwed all the suspension was worn out and the truck was already rusting apart (the car lot covered it up with undercoating). I took his advise and sold it off to a car lot. Then decided to just spend the cash to get the truck I really wanted. Now I have a truck that is 7 years older with less options, but in way better shape, more reliable, and less thirsty. The only other Toyota I have has was an Celica. I loved that car, but I crashed it. I just wanted a truck for dump runs, the Taco I got came with a canopy and a 6'2" bed, and to get out of my driveway if we get a lot of snow again. My Nissan Juke was in fulltime AWD and got stuck in my driveway last winter. I was lucky to find an 07 Taco with only 109K miles. This truck is a lot easier to drive than the F-150, shorter and not as wide.

Typical Toyota
This is my 2nd Tacoma and 4th Toyota. I knew this was the only truck I was going to buy the only thing was to decide a color (black). There is a lot of storage. The storage under and behind the rear seats is beyond great. The composite bed is much needed. Although it can be slick. The engine power is excellent and after 17K miles I get 21 hwy and 18 mixed driving. I have no complaints except the paint scratches very easy. Toyota needs to address this along with the 17" sport wheels that have a pitting problem in the finish.
