04 Rav4 what a car
The 04 Rav4 is a fantastic SUV. It handles the road well and the performance of the vehicle is incredible with the larger engine. The double wishbone suspension at the back is a welcomed improvement. The fog lamp design for the front of the vehicle is impressive and inside the cosmetic changes are very nice to see. You would be crazy not to consider this vehicle is you are searching for an SUV.
Preferred over my Camry and Van et all
Love my RAV 4! Easier to enter and exit than cars or trucks. Much more comfortable to sit in for long periods of driving than my Camry or van was. Can actually get out without walking like Grandpa McCoy. Handles great in country on dirt roads, mud, sand, and fields. Easy to maneuver in interstate and freeway traffic and great visibility. Parking is a cinch, even parallel, and even I can back into a parking place with it - no problemo!

Best car I've owned (knock on wood!)
Well...I've only had this car for 2000 miles, but it's an extremely fun car to drive. 'Premium' sound system was poor. I replaced it with four Infinity speakers and an Excelon Kenwood deck because I couldn't get the top of the line system Toyota offered. After about 1000 miles, the engine 'loosened' up and now runs super smooth. Averaging about 28 mph.
The Best Vehicle I've Owned!!!
The Toyota RAV4 is the best and most fun vehicle I have owned and I have been driving for over 30 years. It a sturdy truck and it drives like a car.I think this car, not only rides well, but it also is a good looking vehicle. I also had a wonderful experience, with everyone at the dealership.
From CRV to RAV4 and no regrets
I traded my 2003 CRV to a 2004 RAV4 for the simple reason that the RAV4 handles a tenfold better than the CRV. I found my CRV to be "trucky", FAR too big for a "compact SUV" and had terrible road noise. I would have ranked CRV's seating comfort a 2 for me...the worthless armrests dug into my sides; the legroom in the front was shy of sufficient for me (at 6'1). RAV4 changed ALL of that...I'm glad I got one!!
