Best car we ever owned

Almost went with the hybrid, but chose the Matrix and couldn't be happier. Terrific here in the Sierras where we get snow, ice and heavy rains. It handles the roads here in the mountains like a big SUV. And I pop one or both back seats down and bring lumber home from the store, as well as enough groceries to last us a month. And we checked with our insurance agent before we bought a new car, to see which ones were the best value to insure and this car got a great rating. And with gas prices being as high as they are we are getting phenomenal mileage.

I Love my Matrix

What can I say about the New Matrix? Isn't she hot! I love my Matrix. Great sporty looks, dependable, easy driving and about 300 miles to a tank. I needed something that looked good but also had room for my son's Hockey gear. Lots of space in this car. Not only could I put in 3 kids hockey equipment, but also the 3 kids! Very roomy backseat. Plenty of places to put your extras. It took me 5 months before I found 2 of the little compartments next to the dash for storage. A pleasent surprise. Good pick up and a smooth ride on the highway. Also plenty of power in the mountains. I would recomend this car to anyone.

You don't drive the Toyota Matrix. You become part of the Matrix due to its excellent comfort level from the driver’s seat and your body position in relation to the steering wheel.

Bought the Matrix in CA on 4/2003 and soon moved to WA. I still get people stopping me and asking what is this car. People really like the style.Love the cargo. Passengers complain about the uncomfortable seats and the seat belts. A few plastic pieces have broken but I am pretty hard on cars.Al

the matrix xrs is a wonderful wagon. it is affordable has lots of headroom and sporty. i am 6'2" and space was an issue but not with the matix. i spent 19000 plus tax. the engine in the matrix xrs has plenty of horses to pass on freeways and accelerate on the shortest on ramps. the matrix is a great little wagon
