I've been driving mine for almost 3 years now and I absolutely love it. Plenty of interior room, excellent reliability, good mileage, nice design -- what's not to love?

MATRIX IS BEST CAR IN CLASS

Only been driving for a month but it seems that Toyota has fixed everything that people complained about in the '03. Guages are bright and look cool, no rattles or squeaks, and the handles awesome. Got the 04 XR AWD because we do a lot of snowboarding in the winter and AWD seemed smart for getting in and out of the resorts. Even without the XRS's more powerful engine the car still seems really zippy, and the handling is incredible.

I love my car. It is stylish and fun to drive. Also with gas prices the way they are, I'm glad its great on gas. It is very comfortable, and has great pick up.

I haven't given this car a second thought since buying it, which is EXACTLY what I wanted. It's easy to drive, gets good mileage, u-turns on city streets are no problem, and with the rear seats folded down it can hold my bicycle without taking the wheels off. Fold down the front seat, and you can fit all that stuff you bought at Home Depot. I also like the driving position - you sit up higher than in other compact wagons. The seats are tall, like in a minivan, which gives you much better visability in traffic. Visability out the back is compromised by the narrow windows back there, but once you're used to it, it's not a problem.

When the clutch system is at its best, the driving expericence is great. I like all the electronic hook up ports for my MP3, cell phone etc. The front control panel is easy to read and manipulate. The brake system is awesome.
