purchased 2021 corolla hybrid about 1000 miles ago. so far no problems. am averaging in the high 50s to low sixtys in mpg with mostly rural driving. car is a little noisey when accelerating but quiets down when speed in reached. still a little noisey but i"m coming from a camry and don"t find a difference in noise overall. car is comfortable to drive but a little weak in acceration when you use the eco mode.

I expected 53 mpg, I'm getting in the low 60s. Why didn't toyota say?

I am consistently getting over 60 miles/gallon so far without much change in driving habit, and love this car! Update: This is true after 40,000 miles!

I bought it being it for the fuel savings. It is slower than expected acceleration but plenty to get the job done. I average about 56 to 57mpg on gas so that's awesome . Has very nice passenger seating and nice size trunk. Overall great bang for your buck.

The car has no spare tire. You get a can of tire sealant and an air pump. Also, no jack.
