Most Reliable Car Built
I bought this car from new. Its lived entirely outside, through 10 New England winters and Boston driving and yet nothing ever goes wrong with it. Yes, the backseat is a little cramped but the hatchback trunk is remarkably roomy. Four adults and their luggage managed a week in Nova Scotia last August. I would never even think of buying any other car than a Toyota......if this one ever dies.
172,000+ and going strong
I bought this car with 1800 miles on it in 1995. Nearly 7 years and 171,000 miles later, I couldn't be more pleased. Aside from oil changes and regular preventative maintenance (e.g. timing belt). I have had to make ONE repair. I had to replace the front wheels at 150,000. If you can believe it, I have only replaced the front brake pads once and never touched the exhaust. Amazing. And the car still gets 30 mpg and runs quiet and strong.

can't sell it
I owned several eclipes, but none of them will match my celica. I only replced water pump at the time I bought the celica three years ago. I actually sold this car, and then changed my mind and got the car back. These cars will run forever!
213000 to Crash
At 213000 miles I was hit in the side and pushed into a telephone pole head- on. My car ran great and everything was exceptional. The transmission shifted great and the celica did great this winter. I am sorry to say good- bye but the safety/crashworthiness saved my life.
Celica Challenge
I just recently got this vehicle this year. It runs great, but has to low horsepower to compete with other sports cars. Very fun to drive and looks great. Once tuned it can be a wicked car.
