Used 2001 Toyota Camry Consumer Reviews
Very Reliable Vehicle
I purchased this vehicle in 2002. It has been extremely reliable. My Camry currently has 107000 miles on it and all I have ever done to it mechanically is have the oil changed and the battery replaced. It gets excellent gas mileage (28 MPG/HWY). I have one child and the backseat is plenty roomy/comfortable for her. My Camry LE is a Gallery edition so it has several extras that make it look nicer/sportier than the traditional Camry.
Great car.
Has 16K miles. Has a rattle by the ashtray. Had the dealership look at it. Tech heard rattle but unsuccesful at repair. Now have a squeek in the passenger side seat. If passenger shifts weight you get a annoying squeek. Will take and let dealership repair both problems. Average about 32 miles a gallon. Drive 80 miles a day, all highway (65 to 70 mph). Car is quiet (except squeek and rattle). Had to replace speaker cover on passenger side door (think child may have broke, but not sure). Wish I had bought V-6, but wanted fuel economy.

V6 Magic
Excellent automobile with the utmost in reliability and performance. Just love getting on the freeway and opening up or passing when traffic is tough. The V6 engine is more powerful than I imagined. Comfortable, handles great too. Designed for California roads!!!
Great car
This is my first Toyota, I purchased after extensive research. I was discouraged with repair costs and quality of previous cars. I have put 80K plus in 3.5 years on this Camry. Not one problem, regular oil changes etc. only. Yes, it could have more power, but well worth living without considering all the other good things. I will always buy Toyota based on my past experiences with other cars. Toyota has more recommended used car models than any other make, and I know why. My kids are tired of me saying "BUY A TOYOTA" !!!
2001 CAMRY LE
Very good vehicle. Only problem was front end struts which wore out quickly, the same as my 1998 Camry which I traded in.
