Used 2000 Toyota Camry CE 4dr Sedan Consumer Reviews
Excellent ,Reliable, Comfortable - Dull?
Tied with Accord as best basic 4-door sedan in America. Extremely reliable and comfortable. This is you basic family car - those looking for excitement should look elsewhere.
Toyota Certified Means Nothing
I recently purchased a Toyota Certified 2000 Camry. $300 worth of car trouble later, I am afraid to drive it anywhere. I can't figure out what they certifiy. I couldn't have been my car. Though the ride in more smooth then a corolla, seating in the back is still terrible.

Thanks Toyota!
My Camry has been great! It's extremely quiet, comfortable ride, handles well, but not harsh; Accord is too stiff for me...I take long trips. Initially I was concerned with power, having previously owned an SHO Taurus and a 3.8 Litre Sable, but the little four gets the job done, with no sense of being underpowered. It will run as fast as you want on the E-way, my usual is around 80 mph, and NEVER have a problem keeping it their...it'll slide up to 90 if you don't watch it...and still gets 30-31 miles per gallon! With 74,000 miles I've done nothing but routine maintenance, one change of brake pads about 50,000 miles. My one complaint is with the seats, (front) which aren't cushy enough.
I'm now a loyal Toyota Customer
Have had great luck with this car. It performs great for a 4 cyl. and handles good too. Zero maintenance problems (currently at 48,000 miles). I like the smart features like how you can't lock the doors with the keys in the ignition. It's also easy to change the oil in this car (4 cyl). So with good reliability, economy, and quality, I am now a loyal Toyota customer. Goodbye Ford and GM...
gave up power for economy
only would have the clock lit when engine off, and map lights in front seat, and leave interior light on for a few seconds after doors are closed
