Used 2006 Toyota Camry Solara Consumer Reviews
Toyota Solara Convertible SLE V6
This car handles like a sport car. Very stable and hugs the curves like a dream on the mountain roads. Also, the ability to shift from automatic to manual is great both going up and down hills.
My dream car
After reseraching many convertibles, I decided on the Solara based on my satisfaction with my 2001 Camry which I intended to keep as my work vehicle, however Hurricane Katrina claimed that car. The Solara convertible was so comfortable on the test drive that I knew this is the car I want.

Phenomenal Car, Except...
This car is fun to drive, primarily with the top down. With the top up it is tough to see anything behind you. But I love the handling, fuel economy, navigation, quality, ease of using the convertible top and the silence when the top is up.
Great deal for the Money
Hard to find a better convertible with more bang for the buck. It is a true head turner. Fun to drive, reasonably price, and great resale. Really looks and drives like a lexus es
2006 SLE Convertible
Excellent "road tripper". Very easy to raise and lower top. Excellent cockpit layout. Satellite radio a must. VSC also a must. Environmentals are excellent (a/c//heated seats) Exterior design: car resembles the Lexus Coupe - gets many second looks. Performance: good acceleration and passing response. Passenger comfort: very good all seats Trunk capacity: impressive - golf bag plus two duffels fit easily Fuel consumption: a bit off the EPA estimates Brakes: excellent Don't likes: owner's manual/dealer recommendation to wash the car by hand installing the tonneau (convertible top) cover - tedious and definitely not a quick donning item
