Jewel of a Car
I have loved this car for 8 years (89,000 miles). Excellent gas economy, smooth ride, very low maintenance. First rear brake replacement was at 88,000 miles. Front brakes are still going. I wouldn't be giving up this car now except that my teenage grandchildren have started to drive and this is an excellent family car for them to use. Have received lots of compliments on the color (sky blue), including from strangers in parking lots and gas stations!

Great hybrid car
I bought this car used at 25K miles and it has been extremely reliable with an average of 40 mpg. No complaints on reliability, performance, efficiency. I had a few minor issues with the interior fit and finish, but nothing that could not be easily fixed. Overall, a great car that I would have no hesitation of buying again.

Ode to Almost Perfection
Perfect in almost every way except trunk size. Ride is a little harsher than I would prefer but not a major issue

Comfortable Car, but Poor Initial Quality
This is a very comfortable car to drive, and it gets terrific gas mileage, but initial quality is unacceptable. I have had this car for 3 months, and it has been back to the shop 5 times. Defective speaker diagnosed on 1st visit, replaced on 2nd visit. Sunroof side garnish came loose and smeared grease on window. Garnish re-attached on 3rd visit. Missing rear seat belt buckle replaced on 4th visit. Functionality problem with JBL premium sound system (complicated) diagnosed on 5th visit. Toyota asked me to bring it in at a later date. Vertical grease smear on right rear power window (undiagnosed) to be addressed on 6th visit along with the radio. Big hassle!
5,000 miles trip
Took a trip from Omaha to New Brunswick and back. Best combination of mpg, power, & comfort. Between 70 & 75 mpg got better than 39 mpg, quick passing regardless of speed, effortless cruising whether going up mountains, or with four adults, and snappy pick-up whenever asked. Electric lumbar support proved invalueable for the longer trips. Several passengers appreciated the rear ventilation duct and the rear seat space and comfort. Style and color not trendy but with privacy glass, looks classy but still seems conservative. Steering is responsive and precise. The controls are easy to adjust to and reach. Overall the ride is quite solid and relatively smooth. So far, great reliability
