Used 2006 Toyota Avalon Limited 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
understated greatness
Now have 377,000 miles. Since my last review, I have changed front struts, a couple front-end suspension pieces, repaired or replaced a leaky gas tank, and an-depth tune-up (plugs, coils, etc.). The tune-up increased mpg. Mechanics are amazed by sound of engine. I continue to change oil every 5-7 K miles. I've no regrets about this purchase 11 years ago with 145,000 mi. -------------------- Bought this 06 Avalon Ltd in 2013 with 145,000 miles on it. Now--332,000. Other than regular oil changes and brake upkeep, bearings replaced on two front wheels, a coil or two, a couple sensors, this is basically a trouble-free vehicle, even in Michigan's U.P. With snow tires in winter, it's like a tank going thru snow. Fuel mileage ranges from 28 mpg @ 80 mph to 32+ mpg at 60 mph. Handles well for a cruiser! The map isn't user-friendly, but I don't need it. Mechanics at the shop that services it marvel at the health of the engine and quality of the vehicle. I hope my next Toyota is as good!

Top Yota ever
I inherited this car from my parents. it had been sitting under a tree for 3 and 1/2 years. it looks like it was ready for the trash Heap. I decided to spit and polish it not knowing that I had a diamond in the rough. I had it towed to a reputable mechanic and gone through, all fluids were changed change the tires and a week later drove it from Florida to Bellingham Washington, flawless. I have owned the car now for a year and I am 60 years old and have owned them all. This is hands-down the best vehicle I have ever driven when considering all aspects of a Driving Experience. It is also the largest of the Avalon's and when I am parked next to a newer one people stare at mine in Envy. it only has 115,000 miles on it and feels like a brand new car I have owned several Toyotas in my life but none like this particular model of Avalon. Toyota bring back the big rig, what a vehicle. it looks like it's rolled out of the showroom last week I am going to keep it for the rest of my life and if it needs any restoration it will be done. Update 4 more cross country trips since the review....mechanical problems...none! 150,000 miles and going strong. 2021 stiill running and looking great!

AVALON " LIMITED " JUST A GREAT CAR
My wife has a 2006 Lexus GS300 and i have a 2006 Toyota Limited we have more room in my limited both in the rear and trunk then the Lexus. We use my Limited more then her Lexus and we payed a lot more for that lexus. For what i payed for my limited to me the car has a lot more to offer its a lot of fun to drive and the fuel ecomony is great. I'm getting 24 mpg around town and 34 to 35 mpg on the open road. As far as we are concerned we love our TOYOTA LIMITED. If any one is thinking about getting one please do so you wont be sorry. Keep up the good work TOYOTA.
Best car I have ever owned
I have owned over an estimated fifty (50) cars in my life time and this Avalon is the best. My last seven have been Toyota including three (3) trucks. This car is an engineering marvel. I love the ride, gas mileage, rooming, security, everything is easy to get at. Folks, Toyota has done it again, THE BEST.
