Used 2006 Toyota Avalon Limited 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
Avalon LTD: A lot for the money
The purchase process was unusually easy and the price was more than fair. However, the allowance for the trade was low. Everything worked the first time; the car had no cosmetic or mechanical problems, even though it came with about every option available. I thought that something was bound to be wrong with so complicated a car, but everything was perfect. The engine has plenty of power; it is easy to speed in this car because it is so quiet. The nav. system works well, but was difficult to learn. The driver's manual is confusing, poorly written, and full of language errors, making learning complicated systems even more difficult. Overall, however, this is a very good car for the cost.
First non-US purchase
Nice performing/handling vehicle. Zero to 60 in 6.1 seconds with good city mileage of 19.5 mpg. Nice design from rear, but front end is pretty blah.
The Avalon
One week after buying my Avalon, I had to drive 5 1/2 hrs to attend a funeral. I found the Avalon to be a wonderful car to drive on a highway. The feel of the road, the gas consumption and the comfort of the seats were far above my expectations. I have broken my back once and neck twice and just had my R shoulder replaced and I was able to adjust my seat for total comfort. I'm looking forward to another trip.
Raymond Avalon I love it!
Of all the vehicles I've ever owned I have enjoyed the Avalon Limited the best. It's comfortable, classy, and has all of the features I most enjoy in an automobile. I particularly enjoy the GPS tremendously.
