Excellent Car
I'm going to be straight forward with this review. First of all, I like these cars. They are stylish, fun, cornering is spot on. Performance is good. The whole car was built by to of the most powerful car manufacturer's Toyota and Subaru. They did a perfect job teaming up together.

86 TRD package worth it
I also own a 2013 Scion FR-S. This car is much better since many of the earlier problems have been fixed and newer electronics and options make for a better driving experience. The TRD package is well put together. Great handling and still very comfortable. Judicious use of the throttle will give better than EPA predictions, offset by the extra cost of premium fuel. It's no acceleration monster so don't bother. But, you don't need to slow much for corners, which is where the driving fun is anyway. The back seats only work for children in child seats or larger people without legs, unless the driver and passenger seats are well forward. This is not a complaint if you expect this.

I love my 86
I am just an average driver that enjoys good handling and decent acceleration. The 86 may not have a souped up engine but I prefer not to get speeding tickets and live in the US so I am not able to drive on the autobahn. For someone that has a realistic view of how much power they really need and likes good gas mileage, the 86 is a great option. It is definitely a 2 person vehicle in spite of technically having a back seat so keep that in mind. It is nice to use the backseat to hold cargo that I want to keep easily accessible but no human being would want to sit in it. I live in a major metropolitan area with the usual traffic congestion. My 86 has me enjoying my daily commute again and that says a lot.

Fun to drive
I love this car and it’s awesome to drive in. An automatic with paddle shifters. Case closed. Everything is awesome.
Fun to drive
This car is fun to drive. It has alot of get up and go. The back seats are useless except for maybe a baby seat. The center arm rest will set you back another couple hundred dollars and you have to buy it after market and install youself, Toyota really screwed up on this one!
