Used 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Consumer Reviews
Tough Little Car
I bought a used 2015 Crosstrek MT5 Premium that has over 105k miles driven. Considering I'm a very big guy (over 300lbs) the driver side space is surprisingly roomy! I drive this car in the city of New York back and forth from work almost every day and the potholes there are pretty hard to avoid. Traffic jams at almost all hours of the day and night! I rarely shift the car u to the 5th gear that's how slow traffic can get and yet the car averages 25 to 26 mpg in the city alone. So I'm very pleased with the gas mileage! Is it underpowered? Yes! But why would you want to drive a high tech car when you can not go no more than 30 mph on the city's streets? Love the car's simple features! I'm an old school kinda guy and this car has an old school kind of features with a touch of modern techs without taking away out of old school fun in driving! Smooth riding on the asphalt a bit noisy on the concrete. Great handling and is capable on doing circles on some higher tech and respectable vehicles. It does the job during winter months. Love this tough little car!

its a great vehicle
My 2007 Forester got totalled by someone who was playing on his phone so I opted to downsize because I have to do alot of city driving for my job. I got a Blue with Bone interior. The car looks great when it gets muddy as well as when its sparkling clean. I was nervous about the very light interior but I like it. I am not someone who gives many 5s when I rate something because nothing is perfect. A 3 means its just fine to me. I gave it a 3 for value because I think the Forester is a better value but the new onse made me feel like I was a soccer mom.
Could be just my one car
Check out the welds, I think a poor job was done on many locations, the weld cleaning was not good or identical. The interior door panels felt cheap, they were flimsy and always afraid it would brake. The wires to the rear view mirror on the windshield for power were not even concealed with a piece of plastic. The mirror vibrates badly even if you listen to NPR. The Seats rattled a lot, though you hit a small bumpy road things start to rattle on the rear seat. It is one where no one has sat on it yet except my wife on the day we took it while the guy was explaining controls with me in the front and only with 1000 miles on it. The engine and transmission (I am sure just mine) when I shift it makes lot of noise, the car shakes a bit violently to crank up.

It's an imprezza with lifts!
Great car! Compact but so roomy. Can get into almost any parking spot. Should have lighted vanity mirrors like the Outback, but doesn't!
