I just leased the base model of the 2024 Subaru Forester and so far I am very impressed. It handles great and is very comfortable. Thank you Subaru for making me feel safe while I enjoy my new small SUV.

Solid value and the safest car in its class to boot. Quiet and secure ride. If you ride hard, don't get it, it could use anther 30 horsepower.

Reviewed all the competitors and decided to get the 2024. The Forester drives well and exceeds Edmund’s review. The 2.5 is not slow by any means. Gets better than 27 mpg between street and highway. Did a 2,000 mile round trip to Colorado and it handled the highways and steep climbs very well. Wind noise which Edmunds did not mention is very noticeable above mph. The leather seats are too firm and cause discomfort. Only a few suvs in this price range that I reviewed with 8 way power seats for passenger side. Excellent safety features. Waiting to test this beast in Colorado snow. I would prefer electronic folding mirrors and softer seats. Otherwise I am very happy with the 2024 Forester.
