As the owner of a Toyota Corrola, I was very happy with the quality of my vehicle. When I went to the dealership for scheduled maintenance there it was, a 2005 Scion TC. The sporty style and chrome wheels caught my eye, I had to test drive. Sitting inside I instantly noticed the large glass roof and stylish gauges, once I hit the open road I felt a kick of power and the fact that it was raining made this even better. The tires gripped the road like velcro, I was able to change lanes and turn as if the pavement was dry. Stopping was effortless with the abs system and the sound system blasted with ease with no distortion. The trunk space was large and the cover can be easily removed. A++

Just purchased the vehicle yesterday. Can't believe how much car you get for so little money. Drove the car 100 home from the dealer and it rides just as great on the highway as it does in town. Nice acceleration even in 5th for a 4cyl engine. I compared the Mazda 3s and Saturn Ion before deciding on the Scion tC.

Fantastic Value for the money! Put everything in the car and still under 20K purchase price. Stock tires are horrendous in New England weather! Put Continental ExtremeContacts on and it made a world of difference. Have owned cars costing 2, 3X more than the tC but what a value and kick- ass fun to drive!

As far as sales and the actual purchase at dealership,i wasnt that pleased with my experience. this includes my final total price for the vehicle which includes trade-in/ taxes/ and upgrades, and the way the dealerships go about selling you this vehicle. Scion has geared and marketed this car to be a no hassal no haggle buying experience. But that wasnt the case with my situation. But did, in the end get a vehicle that meet my expectations performance wise. The car handles great and has a nice heavy/solid ride, although my ride is a little noisier due to the upgrade in 18" low profile rims. but thats expected. Body design upholds an expensive look. the more upgrades the sportier your look.

The tC, I believe, is the best bang for your buck that is out there. I am 6'1" and I fit PERFECTLY in the car. The drive of the vehicle is unmatched by ANY competitors in it's class. Sure, there may be "stronger" motors as way of horsepower, but bang for your buck, you can't go wrong.

Been driving a Flint Mica Automatic for a few days now. Really fun to drive although my 1.8T Jetta had more zip to it. Interior design is very good, except the flip top for the stereo. The exterior design is perfect. The Flint Mica color always turns heads because it glitters in sunlight. For the price I have no complaints.

I can't believe how well this car handles. I'm breaking it in, not pushing it at all, and it amazes me in Its breaking abilities, handling, and acceleration. The fuel mileage isn't bad at all. If i was to say something bad about it, I perfer to haggle rather than dealing with a fixed price, but it's worth it.

This little car is awesome! It came with everything that we wanted in a car standard and there was no questions about do we want this option or that option. It looks great, is fun to drive and has plenty of backseat room for extra passengers. We got one of the very first tCs in July 2004 and it really turned heads everywhere. People would approach us in parking lots and ask us what kind of car it is. When we went to pick up the plates for the car, the salesman who got them for us pulled out the plates from the file cabinet and said "You've got one of those rare birds". We have recommended it to several friends and now they are waiting for their new tCs to come in. Great car!!!!

Performance: Coming from a 5.0 mustang gives me a bit more perspective than some of the kids moving up from their Civic to this car. It isn't particularly fast, but it is quick, and handles well, is comfortable and the stereo system rocks Gearing/Tranny: I think they did a great job with matching the gearing to the engine. Even in 5th gear, you can pass on the highway, which makes highway driving much more tolerable. First is really short, but thats not a bad thing. Interior: This car is really comfortable and seems much bigger on the inside than it looks like it should from the outside. The seats are firm and supportive, and the driving controls are well placed.

Overall, it's an excellent small coupe. Sure it has some weaknesses; but at this price-point, I'd be nit picking. Pros - Punchy engine, good handling, excellent interior and exterior fit/finish, outstanding value, Toyota reliability, nice features Cons - stereo volume control should be a dial, not tiny buttons. The car needs a 6th gear. It runs high in the RPMs. Mileage could be better, I get 26/27 MPG mixed driving. The car is geared low, so you'll use the higher gears in the city, helping our city rating. Again, a 6th gear would be welcome. I get 30 MPG highway. That should be better. The car is quiet except at highway speeds, even with undercoating.

This car is most amazing compared to the cars in its class. Nothing comes close. The exterior styling is original and you get nice looks in this car from other people. I have been asked my many people where I got the car from and how much I have spent on it; and they freak out when they find out that I have only spent 17,500 on this car. The interior is top notch, features provided are nothing but spectacular and never cease to amaze me (especialy the "to alert" gauges)...I would recommend this car to anyone who is into style and performance. And there is already a turbo'd version out on the streets in FL that is pushing 295 hp @10psi on STOCK internals...so the car has insane potential

I love my black cherry Scion tC. I get so many compliments on the way it looks people actually stop and ask me what kind of car it is. Obviously i tell them it's a Scion made by Toyota and how you get so much for the money. Mind you, I am 44 years old and out of the minivan stage. So I thought why not buy something that is young, fun and classy looking at the same time.

I just sold my 1998 1.8 Audi Quattro. Bought the car new and had an engine management chip put in. Though it was fun to drive, I had mucho problems, turbo, brakes, broken timing belt, and more. My Tc is as much fun, even with automatic, and my guess is the build quality will far exceed the Audi. Fit and finish is great. The standard features and solid feeling, can't be beat and a dealer that rally knew his product. I'm having a blast. At 66, who says the car is only for kids?

I drove over 10 different cars before buying the scion. The power, styling and reliability of this car far outdo its competitors like the rsx, vw 1.8t, tiburon, neon, etc... Not to mention the price, at anywhere from 1K to 6K cheaper it is an awsome sport compact. There is also the TRD performance options that are available. Overall I have to give this car a 10.

I bought my Scion Tc before moving to San Francisco. I was trying to decide between it and the Jetta. I can not tell you how happy I have been with my decision. It has so many standard features for a car that is so cheap. It is much roomier than it appears and the sun/moonroof is really fun. I bought the XM radio and have been equally pleased with that purchase. All in all, the Scion has totally lived up to the hype. I couldn't be happier.

My last car was a Subaru WRX...i decided to go cheap with my new car and bought a Scion tC. I wasn't expecting much besides reliability and fuel economy. What i got instead was a perfect example of how a car can be stylish, come with decent standard options and get great gas mileage in the mid to high teens price range. I now believe that this $16k car is better overall than my old 26k WRX. The WRX had two things going for it... AWD and a turbo charger. Besides those two things, the tC beats it in every category. From seat comfort all the way down to the sound the door makes when you shut it. Even simple things like clutch. The WRX clutch SUCKED...the tC is so smooth

I've had my tC since November and have racked up the miles. It's performed wonderfully, was a huge bargain, and continues to delight. Two notes: some folks complain about the "cheap" sunroof shades. Hello! They're retractable/roll-up fabric b/c you're getting TWO sunroofs! Also, some say the exterior resembles a Tiburon crossed with a BMW. I urge folks to compare the rear profile of the tC with that of it's predecessor, the celica. It's similar, at least to my eyes, though beefier!

I see everyone loves this car, and I do too except for all of the problems! Rattles, rattles everywhere. My sunroof doesn't close, front brakes make a clicking noise constantly, hatch rattles, dashboard rattles and squeeks. it also doesn't help that my dealership is terrible. I probably have the most mileage of anyone I have talked to (24,000), but the car just doesn't seem to be holding up well. The paint is very cheap, the front of the car has so many scratches and chips you can't even see the color of the car (indigo ink). Overall I love the car, I just hate all the issues it has. I will be returning to Honda now that the new Civic is out.

After driving E class mercedes, a Porsche Carrera and recently a Lexus SC430, I got tired of high priced cars that depreciate a great deal. I'm 51 but listen to my sons who really enjoy driving and performance. When I chose the Scion Tc my wife told me she wouldn't even drive in it (too small and not enough luxury). Thank god I don't listen to my wife, the car drives like a dream, solid as a rock and what a price performance curve. I've bought a lot of cars in my days and for the $$ the Scion is an excellent value. Looking forward to a lot of fun, safe driving and easy on the pocketbook.

The tc is a sporty car, lots of extras, at a great price. For a little extra money, my dealer got me leather interior. This is a new, little known package. My tc is black and with the black leather interior it adds so much to a "high price" look but, with a very reasonable pricetag. The car has a lot of energy on the highway. It is a solid car that seems to hug the road. There is no hesitation when accelerating. The stereo/cd player has a great sound. So far, I have absolutely no complaints about my tc!

I recently purchased a tc, I am very pleased with it. The car itself is a great value with excellent standard features. It is clear that the profit margin for the vehicle is made on scion accessories. I don't know that any of the accessories are a great buy. For instance I can get chrome wheel locks for $25 and scion is asking $49. This is just the beginning. You can't beat this car at this price, but consider going to other vendors for accessories.
