Most reliable car I ever had..

I am in outside sales, and I bought the car as a workhorse. I got one of the first TC's made. I have driven my car 160,000 miles and have never had a problem. It trembles a little with the a/ c on when you are stopped, and the brakes squeak sometimes in reverse in the morning, and the CD changer get's jammed from time to time. These are my ONLY complaints. The power is great, and the handling is too (I have TRD struts) but this car has been a fun car to drive/own, and the cost to own is the cheapest I have ever seen. (besides tires)---What a GREAT car!

This car is amazing. It is sporty, light, quick. It has everything stock. It is amazingly affordable. And one last thing, the design and looks are incredible. People look at it, and they do not even know what it is. It looks like a $40K car. Just outstanding.

New Scion TC Series 1.0

Real Cool Car. This car looks great in absolute red!! This series 1.0 is #6 of 2,500. This one includes the TRD Exhaust, Rear Pedestal Spoiler and Ground Effects. The car handles great!!! The 18 inch rims help with the handling and ride better than I thought. If the TRD supercharger becomes available this will be added for sure. The car is quick but an additional 40 hp would be great. I really like the fact that the car feels roomy for such as small car. The car stereo is actually quite good. I also like the fact that Scion offers so many accessories at a great price. You can customize the car to your liking. Oh I also like the fact the car is a Toyota and of good quality.

Well worth the six weeks I waited to get my tC. Parked along a curb on a Saturday night by a club in front of a new Benz SL 500. I saw no less than ten people stop and stare at the tC. They also looked at the logo to try and figure out what it was. Mine is Black with tinted windows and looks great. It swallows all of my music equipment, amps, guitars, keyboards, etc. with the back seats folded down. Drives like it is on rails. LOVE IT.

I have been driving my Scion tC for almost a year now and I really enjoy this vehicle. It looks great and had all the features I was looking for such as power everything, decent gas mileage, sun roof, air conditioning, and disc changer. I bought it with 57,000 miles on it and it still drives like a brand new car. I am hoping to get as many miles out of my current tC as possible and would definitely purchase another one in the future.

This is by far the most fun car I've ever driven. The 160hp is more than ample power to handle everyday driving, not to mention beating Civics off the line. The center console is beautifully designed and well crafted without any dials that clash with the rest of the car, which is also with high quality materials. And with a laundry list of options, and aftermarket tuner parts by TRD and AEM, the fun with this car never stops. My only complaints are the blindspot in the driver side rear window and the gearshift. The shifter is loose. At a quick glance, first gear can look like third gear. A sinxth gear would be nice too. The engine revs a bit high travelling at highway speed.

Im 17 years old and my mom just bought me this car. The car is very good in all of its aspects, it can go fast, beleive me, handles well and love the way you can modify it at the dealership. The car audio system is some what overrated because they are hyping it up because of its pioneer sound but the bass isnt realy there so dont expect the best sound in the world but it is good. The car suits me very well and have had no problems with it so i would recomend it for people.

Usually, when you anticipate something this good, the hype can sometimes overtake what it really turns out to be. NOT FOR THIS CAR! I've been drooling over this car since December of 2003 and I'd have to say, it was worth the wait. There aren't enough words to describe the thrill of driving one of these bad boys. The options are endless when it comes to tuning, but the basic model itself is loaded!

This is my first brand new car and it is awesome. The standard features are not what most companies would consider standrad. As I've driven my car I've noticed all the little things that make this car so cool. All you need to do is shift into a different gear, step on the gas, and you will know that this car has power! I couldn't be happier. And the "pure pricing" that Scion uses makes getting your Scion they way you want it very easy.

I love this car. True, they could have used better material for the interior instead of the scratch-prone stuff they use, but then it would cost more. My only beef is with the latch to the hatchback. It has always been temperamental and difficult to open until last week when it finally snapped off. That's just poor design. I hope that they've fixed this in newer models. But despite that, this has been a great car and I'd definitely get another Scion.

I bought this car new in 2004 and still think it's great! I have taken six trips to Tennessee in it 540 miles one way and always get 30 miles per gallon doing 75-80 mph. I have yet to drive it in the winter though. I really like the looks of the car, the only complaint, is that when I first drive it sometimes the sunroof rattles, oh and I traded my new Honda Civic EX for it, now that was a really slow car. You can't get a better car for the money than the TC.

This little car is awesome! It came with everything that we wanted in a car standard and there was no questions about do we want this option or that option. It looks great, is fun to drive and has plenty of backseat room for extra passengers. We got one of the very first tCs in July 2004 and it really turned heads everywhere. People would approach us in parking lots and ask us what kind of car it is. When we went to pick up the plates for the car, the salesman who got them for us pulled out the plates from the file cabinet and said "You've got one of those rare birds". We have recommended it to several friends and now they are waiting for their new tCs to come in. Great car!!!!

First of all, I am Mr. BMW who traded in a 1997 BMW 540i 6-speed manual for my new Scion tC. I am not only enjoying the european/japanese feel of this car, I am getting better gas mileage and love the looks of it. Everyone checks this car out and they have all the reasons to! It has a great look to it on the outside and all the features, fit and finish and comfort on the inside! By the way, I am loving the upgraded leather. MP3 is awesome!

I've had my tC since November and have racked up the miles. It's performed wonderfully, was a huge bargain, and continues to delight. Two notes: some folks complain about the "cheap" sunroof shades. Hello! They're retractable/roll-up fabric b/c you're getting TWO sunroofs! Also, some say the exterior resembles a Tiburon crossed with a BMW. I urge folks to compare the rear profile of the tC with that of it's predecessor, the celica. It's similar, at least to my eyes, though beefier!

The T6 is awesome!! Fun to drive and great mileage. Relaxing and just fun to chill in. We also added a Satellite radio system to it which has made it even more fun to play with. They continue to give free oil changes to me and have just been very generous which gives you a sense of trust which right away makes everyone in the car buying market feel more positive. Its a great car but there is not enough advertising for it, lets get busy advertising becase they will be the hottest car going once there is more advertising. I would recommend this car to everyone out there looking for a new car, it's a little awesome car and wonderful on gas mileage.

The tc is a sporty car, lots of extras, at a great price. For a little extra money, my dealer got me leather interior. This is a new, little known package. My tc is black and with the black leather interior it adds so much to a "high price" look but, with a very reasonable pricetag. The car has a lot of energy on the highway. It is a solid car that seems to hug the road. There is no hesitation when accelerating. The stereo/cd player has a great sound. So far, I have absolutely no complaints about my tc!

I have had this car for over three years and I feel I can make an adequate assessment of the vehicle. The car is not made of the best quality parts. The pain chips and the body dents easily. The gas mileage is OK, and I find it hard to believe the manual trans gets worse mileage than the auto. I take the car in every 5k for oil changes/maintenance and have treated it well. The hatchback rattles like crazy in 40 or below weather and the hatchback struts gave out on me after about a year of having the car (not covered in the extended warranty). You feel every bump on the road, but I guess that is due to low pro tires. It is slippery in the snow, but handles well in rain. Great CA car!

It is not a sports car, so if that's what you need, turn around and read reviews of the 350z. Now, its a great car. 100,000 miles, and no repairs, only maintenance. I love it. The 5-speed manual is very quick and smooth engagement of the gears, easy release clutch. Sound system is AWESOME! Its got everything you need, its a great car, with Toyota quality, and its not on the recall list, because its made in Japan, where the Toyota reputation was made.

I bought my TC 3 weeks ago I am extremely satisfied with my purchase! It looks great (heads will turn:) and it is very responsive and fun to drive. Every other day, I discover a new feature I didn't know about! It only shows me how much R&D Toyota must have put into the creation of this car. Save your time test-driving cause the Acura RSX, Hyundai Tiburon and Honda Civic don't hold a candle to the value and performance of the Scion TC!

The Scion TC comes absolutely loaded with features you would have to pay a premium for on other cars: 17" wheels, ABS brakes, power windows/door locks, and panoramic sunroof to name a few. Although all of these features make this car rather heavy, it still has plenty of "get-up-and-go" for cars in this price range. The tC is fun to drive around town and is plenty comfortable on long trips. Build quality is solid. You can buy a tC with confidence, knowing that it is built by Toyota.

They said "how do you even KNOW about them ?"I wanted a light blue one, hard to track down but my dealer got it and the dealership then had people trying to buy it while it was parked out front waiting for me to pick it up. It was love at first sight for me. Driving it makes me feel happy. Valet parkers rave over it. The price as amazing and everything was included. This is one hot vehicle. This is the limited edition TC 1.0 in Absolute Red. The car is very sharp looking with the 18 inch black rims. This one came with the spoiler and ground effects. This particular car is #6 of 2,500. This car is quick and handles great. The interior is very sharp looking and the seats are very comfortable. The stereo also sounds great. The car comes with a Panasonic stereo as standard equipment. Also the sunroof is standard. The entire top of the car is glass. Real cool!! I am also very happy with the build quality. So far so good. The engine is smooth and the auto trans four speed is fine. You can also add a lot of options to the TC. I recommend this car!!

Ok, here goes. I've had this car for 3 years. I live in the southwest and it gets' hot. The air in this car doesn't get cold, I guess it's too much Glass to effectively cool also my sun-visor broke 3 months ago. I agree the skin is too weak to absorb any impact. You will find within weeks that the acres of smooth well fitted sheet metal are too much temptation for rude parking neighbors to resist. I have so many dents and dings I lost count, and I park far away from the doors! The engine is good for the price. But it's def not a sports car. Then handling is "so, so". Biggest complaint is Toyota's "debilitating" maintenance schedule. Unless your name is Rockefeller don't plan on keeping up.

I got the light blue, auto(if it was manny then that would be sweet), with 9 thousand miles and change on it. This was my first NEW car and I knew that this would be a great investment. The great thing is that you don't see many of these on the road. The Tc is a sweet ride!

I have owned several Honda Civics in the past and my last car was a Nissan Altima all of which I bought new. Even though the Scion has much less horsepower than the Nissan I find it much more exciting to drive. The standard features on the Scion far outpace the competition. I am definitely sold on Scion and have recommended the Tc to several people.

I have had my black Scion tC for almost a month now and am very pleased with the purchase. No haggle pricing saved lots of time and trouble. Plentiful horsepower and torque for daily driving and highway passing. Throttle response feels excellent, like drive-by-wire. Smooth auto transmission. The dual- panel panoramic moonroof is very cool and unbelievable in a $17,000 car. Exterior is very stylish, especially the 17" wheels and turn signals on the side mirrors. Excellent fabrics, fit and finish in the interior. Gladly traded in my 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo (after 4 brake jobs and 2 steering rack replacements) for this 100% Japanese- built top-quality vehicle.

I picked this car up and I can barely put the keys down before I want to get back into it. This car is really fun to drive and man does it look good. The bright red gets alot of attention so you have to watch your speed. As fas a comfort this car is amazing. The interior is very spacious. My recommedation is that if your going to buy a new car, test drive this one last because your going to take it home.
