I decided to write this in defense of my vehicle, which I have had for 30,000 miles. I believe that if an owner takes care of a car, the car will work as intended. I find that most people that complain about vehicles are the ones that don't do routine maintenance and abuse their vehicles. My car has never failed me and I doubt that it will. I live in the Chicago suburbs. I love this car. It is great. It is quite fast. I love the heated leather seats as well. The exterior design was what initially caught my interest. I have owned 2 Chevrolets (Camaro,Cavalier) and a Buick LeSabre in comparison. I do love this car.

Bought a program car and only had it 8 days when the crankshaft sensor failed. In the shop 3 days. Hoping this is only problem. Drives like a dream, looks even better inside and out. Usually had my wife drive the Jeep but drive it every chance I get. I have the same proble mentioned in several reviews in that the cruise control downshifts on the slightest incline. Hope for a recall to fix problem.

Interior is a nightmare

Very unhappy with interior layout. Car handles well. Mileage fair but interior design is an ergonomic nightmare,ie dashboard hard to read at night and also in bright sunlight. If it wasnt under lease it would be gone by now.

2008 saturn vue XR. Nothing but problems. Only had 2 half yrs wity 141k miles in it. Had to replace starter, wipers stopped working, wheel bearings, brakes, and recent code popped up p0700. I just got out the shop about a month prior for the wheel bearings. Now at the worst time have yo replace my battery fot the 2nd time. In the time ive owned it. Seats stain easily and very hard to clean. When driving this car you never know what to expect. Feels like i have to drive slow in order to make to my destination and to avoid more problems. Ive tried to like it but its been nothing but problems. Time to get rid of. Save your money and get a better vehicle.

I have had this vehicle for less than a year. With in that time it has been in the shop more than I can count. I have put over $2,000 in repairs with in the past 6 months. All of the parts that were needed had to be purchased from the dealer as they don't sell after marker parts as it is too new and they "ASSUME" you wouldn't need to replace parts. The main problems are in the front end. I have replaced both sway bars, axle boot, muffler ($610), battery, rear wiper, not just the blade as you MUST buy the entire wiper as well as they don't sell just the blade. It looks like a very sharp vehicle but mechanically it is bad news.
