Used 2007 Porsche Cayman Consumer Reviews
Great Value
Handling is outstanding. Smooth 6 cylinder, 5 speed manual offers good torque without excess shifiting. Did not purchase the Cayman S because it had a 6 speed.

Love it!
Awesome car! With the base Cayman there are no worries about bore score or IMS failure. Both of these are virtually nonexistent. The 987.1 Cayman S is plagued with both of these issues. If you’re willing to accept a little less power than you will be rewarded with a very reliable vehicle and save a couple of thousand dollars over the 987.2. Don’t let the myth that these cars are hard to work on fool you. The car is actually easier to work on than most. Just be prepared to do most of the repairs from underneath the vehicle. I have replaced the water pump, thermostat, serpentine, belt, front brake pads, and the exhaust all myself, and I’m 65 and not a mechanic. Just basic maintenance with no major issues in the car runs and drives perfect. The car has approximately 50,000 miles and was due for this maintenance. You can’t get into a 2007 Cayman for 15,000 to 26,000 depending on mileage and condition. 5-21-25

Fun car
This has been an absolutely fun car to drive. It is driveable on a daily basis and just a kick to be in. Bought with preferred package plus with tip and love every aspect of it.
Such a good car
As my first car I don't have much to compare it to but it's still amazing. It may not be able to compete with modern sports car in speed but that handling is something else! And the soud is so nice.
