After having owned a new 2011 Nissan Quest SL for 2 months now I wanted to share some of my honest feedback. 1st we are still glad with our choice to purchase this van over the rivals of Toyota and Honda. The quality is amazing and the interior is very luxurious. My refrigerator recently went out and I was able to haul a brand new Maytag side by side refrigerator in the back of this van. If you need more space than that go buy a Uhaul. Not to mention I still had space in the back floor compartment. Also in every review you will read that the cubic feet is less in the Nissan with all seats folded. True but remember they are not counting the 30 cu ft you have in the back storage well.

My 2011 Quest LE is the finest family vehicle I have ever had, and I own a Mercedes and a Lexus. The CVT and time tested engine do not have the hesitations of the Odyssey and the interior is the most plush of any of the vans, The kids love the dual sunroofs and Mom likes the XM radio, traffic, and weather alerts. I love the sound system and even with it's weight, the tight handling. Go for the LE. It is worth the extra cost.

We really, really wanted to continue liking our 2011 Quest, but it has gotten to the point that we are selling it before paying it off and getting out of the vehicle before something major (a.k.a. expensive) occurs. Within 1 year, both front doors required the bolts to be re-tightened as they got loose. That is ridiculous as a quality assurance problem from the factory. Within 2.5 years, it required new tires all the way around. 30k miles. Engine starting occasionally sputters, fails to start. It has run rough until warming up as well. Accessory belt is squeaking when humid outside and engine is cold. Engine oil change had metal bits recently, 32k miles. Brake job required, 33k.

When we had our 2nd child, I knew we had to get a minivan. I was dreading to buy a minivan but when I saw the Quest, it was match made in heaven. I was confused, does it look like a minivan, a crossover or what? Well folks, do yourself a favor & test drive this minivan before you even try to buy the Odyssey or the Sienna. I have owned Honda's in the past & I did like the Odyssey, however the bland interior & so-so looks made me go towards the Quest. If you want to use your mini-van as a U-hauler, then go for the Odyssey or the Sienna but if you want to easily convert the minivan to a hauler, Quest should be your choice. And to make it more sweeter, I got it $2k under invoice.

very plush, great seats and radio.we have an le have put 144000 miles on it. It unfortunately now has all the know cvt issues which based on what I read are really not fixable unless you want to keep adding transmissions. My wife wont drive it, I do and it is about 80% reliable but really the transmission issues makes the car trash to be honest. NEVER BUY A QUEST unless it is so cheap you can just walk away from it. Seriously it is very nice but garbage beause of the unfixable issues.

We bought our 2011 from parents with 34,000 miles. Now has 95,000 and have dumped $7,700 into it in the last year. It started when the air conditioning went out. Needed new compressor and lines. The lines took 6 weeks to order from the factory. Parts were $3,200 and $1,800 for labor at dealer. 6 months later exhaust goes out and it’s all one assembly and another $1700. 2 weeks ago all new brakes. We also have had to replace the wheel well lining twice as we live in Michigan and not much space in wheel well so the snow freezes against tire and cracks the plastic liner. The positive is it’s comfortable and has a lot of power. I know brakes are a maintenance thing but timing wasn’t good.
I'm glad I give the Quest a look.

After spending nearly 3 months on and off test driving both used and every new minivan currently on the market, I finally drove the Nissan Quest. Without realizing it, I saved the best for last. My wife and I were both unexcited about purchasing a new van to replace our 10 year old MPV. But after driving the Quest we were finally able stay goodbye and sign on the dotted line. The Sienna, Odyssey just didn't have the same quiet and refined ride that the Quest has. Nor did they have the same level of quality materials used on the interior of the Quest. We were impressed.

Had my Quest for one year now with 12,000 miles on it and not a problem yet. Frequently have 7 passengers in the car with no complaints. Drives smooth on the highway and so far so good. I must add that the CVT does lag a tad when hitting the gas from start. It doesn't bother me too much but wish it picked up quicker. Did a lot of research before going with the Quest, but I also have a 1995 Villager with a Nissan Engine that is still going strong also and just can't get rid of it. I did trade in my 2003 Grand Caravan and don't regret it a bit. All I can say is "Love the Quest!" Thinking of getting a second one whenever my 95 Villager stops running, but that may be years away

We did a lot of research. Besides the Nissan Quest, we drove the Honda Odyssey (ok), Toyota Sienna (yuck), Buick Enclave (nice, but $), and Mazda 5 (great, affordable microvan). Hands down, the Nissan Quest was our choice. Definitely feels like driving a luxury car. Pro reviewers should rate it higher. Seven seats are plenty, and I don't care that they don't "stow and go," because both back rows fold flat for plenty of cargo space. If that's really not enough, rent a U-haul. Also, since the third row doesn't fold into the floor, you're left with cavernous storage that doesn't have to be emptied to fold the seats.

Ok i have a short attention span so this will be quick I swear! Thant being said this is our third minivan in the last 5 years and we have had a few SUV's in the process as well and I must say we made the right choice here. We had a 2008 Quest Se and the overall quality was not there so we traded out and bought a 2010 Odyssey Touring and loved it, all but those heavy middle seats, the worthless "magic" seat, and blah interior. But from the original test drive in the new Quest made it clear what my wife and three liittle girls needed to be in. A giant RES system and did I mention how great the advanced climate control system and the double sunroof really os. Awesome drive, amazing value!

My wife and I drove the 2011 Quest today. Nothing stood out one way or the other in terms of its handling. However, the seats were incredible. They are big, beefy, and Sooooooft. It was cold outside so we turned on the seat heaters. Warmed us up quickly. We didn't want to leave the vehicle. Middle row seats were decent. Back row was ok. Had to move the middle row seats up a little to get enough back row footroom, but nothing that would bother a child and most adults. The exterior boxy back is a little weird, but like most things in life, I'm sure we'll get used to it. Who knows, in a year, we may all be raving about it. We are shopping for a minivan. It is between this and the new Odyssey.

Minivans in the U.S. are mostly used to haul kids and run errands to the groceries and hardware stores. We use it to haul adults and friends to parties on weekends. All I have to say the Quest is an awesome van because it's 100% made in Japan next to the Nissan Elgrand E52! No other Japanese vans in North America are JDM like the Quest. Like everyone said, the build quality is rock solid and very Infiniti like. I just slapped on a set of 20'' rims with TEIN coilovers. It looks good and handles like a sport wagon. No more "trampolines" feeling on the highway and body rolls are reduced greatly. [non-permissible content removed]

First off let me explain that I am a car enthusiast. I read review after review weighing the pros and cons of vehicles before I even consider purchasing one. When the time came for my wife and I to choose a new van (at the time we had an 07 Odyssey) I wanted to evaluate all the 2011 models. After all my analysis this is the conclusion I came to, the 2011 Nissan Quest. In comparing the Quest, we looked at all the other vans out on the market. Odyssey has an awesome interior but the exterior is insanely ugly. Plus we hadn't been pleased with the transmission on our 07. Toyota Sienna was too cheap looking inside and out and the new Dodge's exterior is too bland as well.
Love my Quest but....

I have had this vehicle for 5 weeks now and love it overall. I purchased a 2011 Quest leftover that had 15 miles on it. However, I just had a new battery installed by the dealership (covered by warranty) since it kept refusing to start. We thought my kids had left light on or one of the doors was left open (kinda hard to believe since we always use the buttons to open/close). Long story short, two people my husband works with bought new 2011 Quests and said it was a bad battery. Sure enough, brought it to the dealership and the battery was bad. This seems to be a pretty common problem with this vehicle. Hopefully no more surprises.

As should be expected my Quest continues to impress and delight my family. We recently took a road trip from Texas to Northern Wisconsin, over 2500 miles. The quietness of the Quest was great during the 40 hours on the road as was the soft yet controlled ride. I also got to test out the Quest's ability to make a U-turn many times, no GPS. It is very tight turning radius and handles better than I expected from such a large vehicle.

I did a little bit of research, prior to buying my Nissan Quest. I went mostly on my instinct. I had always believed Honda made a good product. But I do not always buy into what everyone says. Imagine how everyone's life would be if they used a little bit of critical thinking. [violative content deleted]

Other than the battery issue we had to begin with, the van has been great. It feels like a Mercedes inside, nice and cushy, and drives like a luxury sedan. It doesn't hurt that I got a great deal on a left-over 2011.

when I first purchase , I had couple screw lose on drive side, check engine light come on, computer technology still not stability. axe have noise when you back up....

This is hands down the best minivan I've ever had. If they had a 2019 version I'd purchase but Nissan stopped making.
