We have had several problems that frustrate me because this is good value for money and should be better than this. The engine stalling problems surfaced. Dangerous because it happened in traffic. Dealer said it was 3 fuel injectors...so car off road while parts arrived. That did not fix it so 5 more were ordered. Test drive showed it was not fixed. Back in again and waited off road for a fuel pump to be installed. Test drive showed the problem was still there but they said a gasket on the new pump was defective. Waited off road until it was installed and that problem was solved. Transmission is acting up. It hesitates and lurches between first to second shifts. Feels like an overdrive not locking in properly. Dealer says there is no problem? The collision avoidance light came on and the vehicle began braking on its own. That was fixed. The problems started about 15,000 kms and now we are just over 40,000. Fingers crossed that the transmission breaks down before the warranty expires. The driver's right arm rest blocks the seatbelt release and the gas tank is too small. The Bose sound system is great, like the cargo space, like the legroom front and rear. I have never had a new car before with this many design, safety and quality control problems. It's a shame... It spent almost a week in the dealers at this new latest visit. They say the dangerous jerking the engine makes under hard acceleration like lane merging...first...is not happening....then they say it is my fault as I am hitting the brake pedal....then the engine was not designed to be driven like that and I am abusing the car....I should not accelerate hard, I should not rev the engine past 3000 rpm.....even thought the "S Mode" setting on the car does just that. In other words they did NOT fix the problem Initially they had talked about buying the car back but that option was never discussed this time. So we are stuck with a car that malfunctions when driven as it needs to be occasionally driven and was designed to be driven. They blame me and say the problem does not exist at the same time. Nissan can forget me ever buying one of their cars ever again.

I drive with Uber, and I can't tell you how many times I've had passengers comment positively on the leg room they get in the back seat, even sitting behind the driver. The cargo area also has plenty of space for a cooler or several suitcases. It is also wide enough to fit three car seats across (two of them are narrow). For all this room, it still gets 28mpg hwy. Two thumbs up!

This new kicks sr has many problems. Transmission seems to slip...wont last long. Air conditioning goes on soon as you touch any controls. Radio not a bose and screen goes black...also freezes. Engine seems to stumble lowering rpms when holding brake. Really have to hold brake hard to hold car at stop. Rides very hard After taking all panels off in the rear of vehicle found the rattling which was the rear seats. The best thing of this car was the fuel economy. Bye by kicks...sold it.
