It's a huge SUV, with tons of interior space. We love it.

2020 Armada

I had a 2004 Armada. I loved the size of it. The only difference I found so far is the headroom. I have to duck a little more to get in. I'm 6'4" and didn't have to duck to get in. Nissan cut almost 2 inches from the height. That's the only setback so far.

2019 Armada and a 5,500 lb boat

I am very happy with this vehicle. We háve driven it 28,000 miles with about 12,000 miles of that on trips. We get 19.5 mpg on the highway, 15.5 in the city and about 11. pulling the boat. Acceleration is very good. The ride is not too firm but not at all mushy. The second row seats are very comfortable but there is too much leg room, which means the third row is cramped. It is fine for young teens and kids. Quiet rattle in the dash. It is a DEV --> Do Everything Vehicle.

I bought a used 2019 Armada in 2019 with 30k miles and I was really excited about it. I’ve always really liked Armadas and their fancy cousin the Q80. Just days after buying it, it wouldn’t start. After having to be towed twice with two misdiagnosis at the dealership it was finally fixed. The switch that shows your pushing the brake pedal down is cheap crap. It wont start unless the brake is fully depressed. The dealership rightfully didn't charge anything. The next few years went fairly smooth and keeping up with normal scheduled maintenance. The information system and Navigation is glitchy and the vehicle needs to be stopped and restarted to reset. Nov 2024 I took it for its 100k service…oil change, brake fluid system drained and refilled, and replace spark plugs. Shortly after getting it home it was running rough so I took it back. One of the pre gapped plugs was bent causing misfired. Apparently inspecting new parts before installing isn’t standard procedure. The rightfully fixed at no cost. Dec 2024 after pressing the gas there was a delay before it started moving. At first it was rare then became more regular after a week. There were no warning light. I went to check the transmission fluid but there is no dip stick to check with this type. I made an appointment again with the dealer and took the next day. At the very end the following day they said the found a transmission fluid leak in one of the line. The transmission was nearly drained of fluid and its now making a grinding sound. They say theres no way to fix it and it will only get worse. The recommend a full transmission and transmission lines replacement. The fragile line that was punctured somehow is directly under the vehicle with zero protection from road debris or the elements. This apparently is a common issue. I understand not everything under the vehicle can or should get extra protection, but this fragile line should especially when a failure can cause such a big repair or leave a person stranded. Now I’m looking at $6,000 to $8,000 in repairs and still have about 12 payments left. Never again.

This is a great SUV. First time ever I have purchased anything but a Chevrolet, but it was the best decision I have made. Much smoother ride and absolutely beautiful vehicle. Never have I had so many people ask about this vehicle - very sharp and great ride.
