Performance that lives up to Style

Have owned many sports cars before (from MG's to Porsche's), but never had a Z. The 370Z really looks the part: aggressive, integrated, and brazen. The interior is a good place to drive in, and the seats work well for spirited driving. I have the touring pkg. with alcantra seat inserts that are comfortable in hot or cold weather. This thing goes great, brakes well, handles well, and is flat out just FUN! I considered a Porsche Boxster or Cayman, but this is more involving at 2/3rds the price. Not as refined, but you're not paying Porsche prices for parts or service, and it is arguably more fun in daily driving. Ride is firm but comfortable on the highway. Handling not upset by bumps

I turned 40 in 2009 and decided to give up riding sport bikes and buy something safer. The 370Z was the perfect choice for me. Purchased a base 6 speed w/ the sport package. I have driven it in the mountains of NC and was able to attack curves w/ the same speed as I was able to on the bike. I look forward to every drive. Yes, the 050 Bridgestones can be loud on bad pavement, but that is what Dynamat is for. Easy fix. Don't let tire noise keep you from enjoying this little gem. The best value in sports cars period.

First the bad news. The tire noise in this car (touring with sport package)is unacceptable. I drive 60 miles to work each day and the noise is terrible. Nissan really dropped the ball with nvh. The good news is, the fix for tis pretty cheap and easy. Buy some sound deadener for about $150, then spend an afternoon installing it and all of a sudden you have a fun to drive, world class sports car that will run with anything on the road and get attention everywhere you take it. Acceleration and handling are great. Bose system is pretty good and interior quality is significantly better than the 350Z.

Mine is the first year and now owned for 3 years with 74k on it. It did have the typical Column Lock issue but I DIY fixed it. Easy! Before buying look a this and it just happened. Last car was a first year 97 C5 Vette. Tons of issues that I DIY addressed. Just one problem with this Nissan platform. Is it the fastest now.?.. No but probably even with the old C5 1/4 mile. Top end probably not. To give you and idea of how the 370Z would fair? ( Have not run anyone with it yet. So many Trucks and SUVs now??) Being even with my old C5 Vette...With the Vette ( 345hp and stock, Ok a cold air intake with K&N woopy! ) I raced a 430hp SS Camaro to a dead heat and the pulled on a 412hp Mustang GT. It is always power to weight that evens the score and both cars are right at the same weight too. Mostly the 370Z for the money is such a great overall performer. Maybe my Z's better performance comes via that it has a Stillen Cold Air and Manifold back Exhaust with puts out probably 350hp. People Complain mostly about road noise. Hatch backs seem to have this . The Vette was the same but I will tell you that 70% or more is the Tires. The stock ones were complained about. But I had the old Michelin A/S Sports on both inheriting them used. Found out switching to Continental DWS on both change that. Handling improved as well. Also I used the Home Depot Peel and Seal, like Dynamat, in the trunk area on the Vette and now the 370.. now 80% better! Get compliments on it all the time. Not everyone has one. Seems Trucks are all the rage. I personally want a real sports car and now every maker is going to SUV sports vehicles.. Joke! I do own a 65 El Camino. LOL! Love the absence of Tech .. Analog gauges not a video game. I drive my car not ride in it. I like being mechanically connected not numb electric this and that. I even shift it and that doubles as an anti theft device now! I do not use it as an extension of my phone. True enthusiast loving performance.

Owned for a month, now 1500 miles on it. It is amaZing! Installed K&N Air filterz and seemed to help with the car breathing better, little more powerful. AC off, drive 55, you can average at 30 mpg or over. Of course up to 70 with AC on I was happy to see 25 on average. Touring Sport pkg/19" wheelz, road noize on smooth blacktop iz reazonably quiet. Texas throwz down that Hot mix surface crap to save money & soundz like I'm in a Jet over the enginez. Not Nissan's fault the SouthTX roadz are crappy. Road surface makes a difference. Car was made for better roadz. Yes, lots of looks. My favorite DPS officer took a look and granted my 1st speeding ticket in yearz! Have to watch in Z!
